Under the direction of the Head of Schools, the Reading Interventionist carries out the primary responsibility for planning and delivering instruction based on Common Core Standards and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Plan, organize, and deliver academic instruction, differentiating as necessary to address student learning needs.

Assist the Behavior Specialist with monitoring the schoolwide Positive Behavior Training (PBT) management system at the classroom level.

Overview:
The Ultrasound Intern will work under the supervision of experienced radiologists and ultrasound technologists to assist in the daily operations of ultrasound procedures. Our pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology offers an extraordinary opportunity for a qualified student to receive structured training in a unique, innovative multidisciplinary setting. Internship training focuses on accurate interviewing and clinical assessment for a wide variety of primary and comorbid presenting mental health concerns-including anxiety disorders, trauma, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, behavior or conduct disorders, among others-as well as various evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions, including exposure and response prevention (ERP), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and other evidence-based treatments will be provided. Opportunities for training in other treatment approaches (e.g., parent-child interaction therapy for selective mutism [PCIT-SM], dialectical behavior therapy [DBT]), as well as psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment, while not central components of the pre-doctoral internship, may be made available to interested interns.
Interns will receive educational enrichment through a series of didactics presented by our clinical staff; comprehensive individual and group supervision meetings; clinical meetings within our Anxiety Disorders, ADHD and Behaviors Disorders, and Mood Disorders Centers; and a series of lectures presented through our Visiting Professor Lecture Series. Interns will also be given the opportunity to give presentations to the Child Mind Institute staff, as well as schools and local community organizations. Additionally, there will also be opportunities to collaborate with website writers on specific topics for the Child Mind Institute website and with other services within the Child Mind Institute.

This program is designed to provide students with various opportunities to grow professionally, receive financial assistance, and experience a smoother transition to practice post-graduation. The program will pay up to $10,000/year (up to 2 years) for the Radiology program. May be interested in/taking courses for MRI/CT but not required. Eligible expenses include tuition, books (including shipping and taxes), registration/lab/technology fees, clinical scrubs, etc.
