Working in accordance with established policies and procedures and/or specific instructions from the Chef and other management staff. The Utility Worker may perform several kitchen activities including washing and sanitizing of pots, dishes, and carts; operating dish washing machine; general cleaning duties while maintaining kitchen sanitation; stocking and storing of food and non-food supplies; receive store and deliver supplies and food trays within the facility and prepare food if necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform under direction of kitchen supervisor in general cleaning while maintaining kitchen sanitation daily. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.
2. Washing and sanitizing of pots, dishes, utensils, carts, etc. either by mechanical washing or hand washing. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.
3. Stocking, storing and rotating food and non-food supplies. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
4. Deliver food to points of service and may assist cooks in food preparation. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
5. Cleans all stainless and surface tops and shelves including walls in kitchen areas. Keeps equipment and floors clean such as ovens, mixers, etc. Maintains extreme sanitary conditions by thoroughly cleaning work areas daily. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
6. Maintains a safe environment including floors, walkways etc. Must be proactive in hazard prevention. This duty is performed about 8% of the time.
7. Must report directly into kitchen upon punching in timecard. This duty is performed about 8% of the time.
8. Use of garbage disposal, trash compactor and potato peeler. Maintains proper chemical amounts by checking daily chemical sanitizing strength to 200 parts per million every time water is changed. Temperatures for the dish machine and pot sink must be logged at 160 wash and 180 rinse. Must report to supervisor if temps are not reaching specifications. Must be careful with food and supplies to prevent contamination/breakage daily. This duty is performed about 8% of the time.
9. Uses proper storing techniques for pots, China, and glassware daily. Keep baker's items in baker's rack. This duty is performed about 8% of the time.
10. Performs related work as assigned by his supervisor or chefs on duty within scope of the facility's and department's policy and procedures daily. This duty is performed about 8% of the time.
11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications

Basic principles of kitchen sanitation.
Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and have knowledge of basic arithmetic.
Ability to maintain task/time management skills within schedule.
Ability to make decisions regarding problems or situations which must be referred to supervisor before acting, for example malfunctioning equipment; hazardous situations; employee callouts; employee/resident complaints and requests.
Must be at least 16 years of age to work necessary hours while school is in session.

Contact chemical salesperson for training monthly.
Contact other departments for deliveries on an occasional basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
2. Follow established safety precautions.
3. Perform proper techniques of floor care and preparation of areas to be cleaned, buffed, stripped, or waxed as well as carpet cleaning.
4. Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment.
5. Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility.
6. Prepare all set ups with tables and chairs, as directed by set up diagram.
7. Remove and transport all trash from the soiled linen rooms and hallways to trash dumpsters.
8. Clean main dining room before morning meal, staff dining room, Lobby restrooms, rehab/therapy gym and offices.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping.
10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Performs, daily, the routine and non-routine cleaning functions as assigned through Vicars Landing in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility; and as may be instructed by the Director of Housekeeping/Laundry Services, to provide a safe, sanitary and attractive environment for all Members, guests and employees at the Sawgrass campus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintains quality index range of 75-89% effectiveness. Performs cleaning functions as assigned according to departmental procedures. This duty is performed about 45% of the time.
2. Cleaning chemicals are mixed to proper use-dilution. Cleaning chemicals are not mixed with any other product except those specifically listed on product label. Cleaning chemical solutions are placed in properly labeled bottles approved for the product. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
3. Supplies and equipment necessary to complete work assignments are taken to the work area within 15 minutes of shift start, prepared to begin assignment for the day. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
4. All equipment used is thoroughly cleaned and returned to storage areas in designated spaces by the end of the shift. Spills occurring during cart and equipment setup/breakdown are cleaned up. Empty containers are removed and properly disposed of in dumpster. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
5. All broken, damaged, or inoperative equipment and hazardous conditions are reported. Housekeeping Service equipment is tagged as inoperative with a description of the problem. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
6. Annual sick time does not exceed 5% or 13 days per year. Reports to work on time 95% of the time. Does not continue to work more than scheduled hours or clock-in ahead of scheduled shift time unless authorized. Follows scheduled lunch and break schedule. Properly notifies supervisor when absent or late to work. Nametag is worn daily on shirts or smocks. Uniform, hair, and shoes are neat and clean. Knocks on door and identifies self when entering room/apartment. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
7. Members are treated with consideration, respect and full recognition of their dignity and individuality. Medical condition and treatment discussed with others only as medically necessary to maintain safety and ensure well-being of Member. Personal possessions are treated with utmost care. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
8. "Wet Floor" signs are used when performing tile and carpet wet cleaning tasks. Equipment cords are placed so as not to create tripping hazard and unplugged when not in use. Gloves are worn on both hands in the performance of cleaning tasks, trash, and soiled linen handling. Calls for assistance when moving heavy objects. Carefully disposes of trash. Removes equipment from hallways and elevators and reports to designated "pool" areas in the event of a disaster drill or actual disaster. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
9. Demonstrate ability to use all Housekeeping Services equipment through practical application. Periodic and situational duties are performed as assigned according to procedures. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
10. Attends annually required in-services. Attends and participates in 80% of monthly departmental meetings. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.
11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure a tranquil and safe environment for the Members and Employees of Vicar's Landing, through the enforcement of the policies and Procedures as established by the Director of Security and Administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a good working rapport with Members, Guests and Personnel of this and other Departments and aid whenever possible.
Identify, report, and take positive action on any safety hazard that could cause accidents, such as ground obstacles, campus lighting, exposed holes, fallen trees, etc.
Monitor a two-way radio.
Report any suspicious activities or a crime in progress to the St. John's County Sheriff's Department.
Aid as required in emergency situations.
Be familiar with the emergency procedures.
Prepare all necessary reports and records connected with security and safety, to include a daily chronological duty log of the security inspection walk-through.
Observe Vicar's Landing employees and areas for internal theft. Identify any trespassers on the property and report information to St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
Assist in protection of life and property for Vicar's Landing.
Parking: Security Officers make routine rounds and enforce parking regulations.
Fire Alarm Panel-Is familiar with the Fire Alarm Panel and can operate the panel during alarms, drills, and false alarms. Is knowledgeable on resetting devices and Panel.
First response for maintenance related items. Security Officers should be knowledgeable of basic operation of appliances, i.e., a/c thermometer, ice maker shutoff valve, etc. to determine if maintenance is needed.
Is familiar with the Watchman's Time Clock schedule and key locations. Conducts tours in accordance with set times and is visible during this time.
Proper pass down information in pass down log.
Utilize the master key only conducting authorized business.

As a Speech Therapist at our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing specialized speech and language therapy services. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing communication abilities, swallowing function, and overall well-being among our diverse population of older adults.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist licensed therapist in planning, developing, organizing, and directing speech therapy, its programs, and activities.
Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff, as well as other related departments in planning therapy services.
Select speech therapy treatments based on medical necessity and diagnosis of resident.
Maintain accurate documentation on all residents and comply with Federal and State guidelines.
Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary or appropriate to meet the administrative needs of the facility.
Qualifications
Skills, Abilities & Competencies:
Education
Must possess as a minimum, a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
Experience
Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years' experience in a therapy capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility.
Training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practice.
Specific Conditions
Must possess a valid and current license in this state.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstance warrants such action.
Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.
Knowledge of therapy procedures.
Possess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., of the therapy services.
Maintaining the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintaining the appearance of therapy areas.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
Possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
Work Conditions
Works in a well-lighted and ventilated office and therapy area.
Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours.
Subject to frequent interruptions.
Involved with residents, family members, personnel, etc., under all conditions/circumstances.
Subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, etc.
Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel and other department supervisors.
Willingness to work beyond normal working hours and other positions temporarily when necessary.
Must be constantly alert for resident safety.
Attend and participate in continuing education programs.
Subject to falls, burns from equipment, infectious disease, odors, etc. throughout the workday.
Subject to supporting residents if appropriate for treatment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk hear, and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Employee must have excellent balance and be able to climb a ladder and walk around a roof. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and be able to work at heights. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus as well as work on a computer for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to communicate verbally with other on the phone or in person.
