**Overview**
The Vice President of National Accounts is responsible for the overall direction of sales department strategy to increase business opportunities and generate revenue from key national and strategic customers. This role will be the primary point of contact for assigned National Accounts and drive the National Accounts performance, goals, and business relationships.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for National Accounts strategy, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), targets and goals, and overall growth
+ Manage and develop customer relationships with key decision-makers; establish and maintain high-level, executive contact with accounts, focusing on the establishment and maintenance of strategic relationships
+ Communicate National Accounts priorities to all relevant commercial teams, including regions, supplier management team, and commercial operations team
+ Work with Category Management team to develop National Accounts programs, sales plan and promotion calendar based on category, customer, and consumer insights
+ Oversee the management and use of National Accounts budgets
+ Develop, deploy and track the execution of national programs across regions
+ Communicate product improvements and release information to enable world-class execution at the field level successfully
+ Negotiate volume commitments, service levels, margins, and funding for assigned National Accounts, and monitor compliance
+ Identify innovation and new opportunities for assigned National Accounts
+ Support supplier goals; focus on expanding national and strategic market presence in the assigned National Accounts
**Additional Primary Responsibilities**
+ Act as the primary point of contact for customer service issue resolution; direct and manage customer service, resolve issues such as inventory concerns, price discrepancies, or sales representative concerns; work with relevant Corporate, Regional, and State functions to resolve issues
+ Create, and present sales analysis presentations to sell products and services to customers or provide insights to suppliers
+ Attend key National Accounts meetings and business reviews

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree plus ten years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Demonstrated category management and brand management experience
+ Demonstrated knowledge of regulations in major states
