This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States.

We are currently seeking a proven sales team leader to recruit, onboard and inspire a team of high-performing cloud application teams to record sales and customer success in North America and other Emerging Markets. Calix Cloud products were launched in early in 2017 and we are now experiencing explosive growth and need to hire a proven sales leader to guide this expanding team within the North American and emerging international market.

The team you will lead will be responsible for sales growth and execution of our Calix Cloud Applications, for Support, and Operations Clouds to innovative Communication Service Providers (CSP's) large and small. This role reports into the Vice President, Global Cloud Sales. Responsibilities and Duties:
Drives Sales execution for assigned Products, Calix Support Cloud and Operations Cloud.Meet and exceed established sales goals.Manage the day-to-day and week-to-week operations of the sales team.Develop and drive territory, business, and account planning.Ensure sales best practices are applied to support high velocity sales cycles, and high quality, sales performance.Manage the sales pipeline and provide forecasts of sales revenue.Support development of Product and Marketing strategy to drive Sales growth.Leverage sales leadership experience to coach, develop and motivate the team as they grow as sales professionals.Collaborate with regional sales resources to bring subject matter expertise, strategy, and support for customer engagements.Work closely with company leadership to select, evaluate and recruit new sales talent as needed.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing or selling into BSP operations leaders.Experience leading a team of first line sales managers.Understanding of key marketing challenges in the communication service provider industry.Experience selling into Tier 1 Solution Provider customers.Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred.Bachelor and/or master's degree in a Business, Commerce, or STEAM strongly preferred.
