WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for highly complex or ambiguous products and services within Tealium's product suite. In this role, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for enterprise product offerings, including our audience activation experiences. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to drive the evolution of our product.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Define and drive the long-term strategy for data orchestration and audience activation in alignment with our company goals
Identify business driving opportunities to deliver more value through insights & activation of unified, real-time customer data
Work closely with engineers, designers, and other product managers (enterprise, vertical, and partner) to conceptualize and build features that deliver outcomes for the product's vision and roadmaps
You will validate and define customer opportunities through customer insights and market analysis.
Work across customer-facing teams (sales, customer success, and product marketing) to understand the industry, competitor trends, and market dynamics
Build a healthy dose of customer empathy and get into the minds and hearts of our customers
Leverage data to inform your strategic and tactical product decisions
Provide ruthless prioritization and focus for engineering teams to deliver customer value
Work with internal partners to drive product adoption by contributing to go-to-market strategies, enablement activities, webinars, product demos, documentation, and more
Determines new methods and procedures to solve unique and special problems
Become a recognized Subject Matter Expert in your area of the product and industry, representing the company with customers, analysts, and partners
Coaches and mentors other PMs, while raising the bar for the product management craft
WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
At least 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager building commercial SaaS products, with proven success driving customer adoption and retention
Experience in delivering martech products or solutions across any of the following industries: marketing, eCommerce, retail, travel, digital media, healthcare, or financial services.
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts relevant to customer data orchestration (segmentation, prediction, real-time personalization)
Experience developing product specs, writing user stories, and identifying and prioritizing competing initiatives to deliver results
Previous experience in developing and growing a product at scale
Track record of building relationships that inspire a winning spirit with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
Experience articulating the value in funding new investment opportunities to senior leadership
WAGE TRANSPARENCY

The U.S. pay range for this full-time position is listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for a robust benefits package that includes the following:

Exempt Non - CA employees (not including NY) including SF: Accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Cannot exceed 180 hours in the calendar year.
Non-Exempt: accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Unused carries over to the next year. Not to exceed 108 hours in a calendar year.

Compensation Range: $170,000 - $200,000 Base + Variable

The Team & Role
Zuora's Billing organization is the foundation of our platform and the center of innovation driving modern monetization. Billing is no longer a back-office process - it's a strategic capability that defines how subscription businesses launch, price, package, and scale. As Senior Director of Product Management, Billing, you will own the product vision and roadmap for Zuora's flagship billing capabilities: rating, usage and subscription management, pricing and packaging, invoicing, taxation, and integration with finance systems.

What you'll do
Define and execute the strategic vision for Zuora Billing, ensuring alignment with company mission and financial outcomes.
Lead a team of product managers across multiple product areas, developing cohesive roadmaps that deliver measurable impact.
Partner with enterprise customers to identify emerging monetization models, translating those into product innovation across rating, invoicing, and usage management.
Drive modernization of the billing platform to support large-scale performance, multi-entity billing, and AI-driven automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in engineering, finance, GTM, and customer success to deliver high-quality, compliant, and extensible products.
Oversee the product strategy for advanced monetization features such as tiered pricing, prepaid/postpaid models, credit/debit memo automation, and revenue recognition integration.
Champion the evolution toward usage-based and hybrid monetization models; ensure the platform enables flexibility, scalability, and audit-grade control.
Lead roadmap prioritization and trade-off decisions using structured frameworks, metrics, and KPIs.
Represent the Billing product line in executive and customer forums, articulating vision, differentiation, and progress.
Ensure collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Revenue teams to deliver end-to-end order-to-cash experiences.
Your experience
12+ years of product management experience in SaaS or enterprise software, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Proven experience owning large-scale billing or monetization platforms, preferably in subscription, usage-based, or hybrid revenue businesses.
Deep understanding of pricing, rating, invoicing, tax, and integration with ERP/finance systems.
Demonstrated success in managing global teams and delivering mission-critical enterprise SaaS capabilities.
Strong analytical rigor and ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product decisions.
Experience working with AI-driven automation, workflow orchestration, or process optimization products.
Track record of influencing executive-level stakeholders and driving alignment across multiple teams.
Technical fluency with APIs, billing systems, and large-scale data architecture.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
