Primary Function:
The role is part of the Investment & Research Team within Wealth Management Investment Solutions. The Investment & Research team has the overall responsibility for enhancing investment processes and coordinating investment research efforts to gain greater efficiency across Investments platform, all within an integrated Governance environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting key enhancements to the oversight process in partnership with Due Diligence Teams, Risk, Compliance and Controls and preparing relevant materials to be presented to the respective Committees such as Investment Review and Investment Performance Governance Committees.
- Support the Governance team's Strategic Initiatives Lead and Committee Leads in creating and implementing new frameworks for the oversight of new business initiatives.
- Perform regular reviews of designations and methodologies that are used in various investment oversight processes in collaboration with the subject matter experts.
- Contributing to the independent oversight process for the Systematic Research Process (SRP) and preparing materials presented to the respective Committee such as quarterly reports.
- Ensuring appropriate levels of documentation exist to evidence the investment oversight process.
Qualifications:
- Extensive industry experience, preferably within Investment or asset management
- Working knowledge and/or experience with ESG and ESG regulations
- Working knowledge of a variety of investment products including multi-asset portfolios, mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds.
- Ability to deal with and process a large number of data
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment on a global team and balance competing priorities
- Prior experience with strategic Initiatives and/or Business management role a plus
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; comfortable with communicating complex and sensitive issues to senior stakeholders
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment; effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility/accountability
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and build partnerships with key stakeholders and control partners
