UPS is hiring individuals to work as
temporary, seasonal Driver Helpers
. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. It requires excellent customer contact skills and a lot of walking.
As a Driver Helper you will not drive the delivery vehicle but assist the driver in the delivery of packages .
Driver Helpers usually meet the UPS driver at a mutually agreed upon time and location each weekday. Workdays can vary (Monday - Friday) or (Tuesday - Saturday), both part-time and full-time, depending on the building needs. Hours vary but usually begin after 8:00 a.m. and end before 8:00 p.m. Driver Helpers must comply with UPS appearance guidelines.
Driver Helper seasonal opportunities are typically between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday time period .

Sign-On Bonus: $1,500Principal Accountabilities
Disassembling and re-assembling equipment, power washing, sanitizing, scrubbing on hands and knees, lifting, carrying, and pushing containers;
Proper chemical use;
Follow and champion personal and food safety policies and procedures as well as reporting any and all concerns or violations to the Leadership Team; and
Other duties as assigned.
Please note that a majority of roles within the Monticello facility work with pork products and/or are in the same room with both pork and non-pork meat products.Required Qualifications
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must have basic math skills ( Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Must be willing to work in hot, cold and wet environment with cleaning chemicals.
Ability to work overtime, including weekends and/or holidays as needed with advanced notice.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
