    Compliance Officer Assistant The Compliance Officer Assistant is responsible for assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of policies and procedures to ensure the dealership's compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate compliance initiatives. This role supports the Compliance Officer by conducting audits, reviewing policies, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of automotive dealership compliance, including finance regulations, documentation, and risk management. The Compliance Officer Assistant will also provide training and support to dealership staff, ensure all documentation meets federal and state guidelines, and travel as needed to dealership locations to oversee compliance adherence. **Initial work location is in Canton, with plans to relocate the position to our new office in Ann Arbor** This summary outlines core aspects of this position, but additional duties may be required on a routine basis. Requirements Experience: Minimum 5 years in automotive compliance, dealership operations, or a related field. Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive finance regulations, FTC guidelines, Red Flags Rule, OFAC compliance, and dealership policies. Skills: Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and training abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Sound judgment in handling sensitive information. Technical Proficiency: Experience with dealership management software (DMS), compliance tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
