Victory Packaging company history timeline
In 1976 Vic Samuels founded a moving and storage supply business, Golden State Container, in Los Angeles.
By 1986, Golden State Container had captured over 50% of the moving and storage distribution market on the West Coast with operations in Los Angeles, Oakland, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Seattle and Vancouver.
In 1990 Vic identified a need for a national packaging and distribution business that would serve clients across the country.
By 1997 Vic was able to accomplish that necessity and operated all companies under the name of Victory Packaging.
In 2015, Victory Packaging was acquired by KapStone Paper and Packaging, a publicly traded pulp and paper company based in Northbrook, Illinois.
In 2018, Victory Packaging was acquired by WestRock, a publicly traded paper and packaging company based in Atlanta, Georgia.
