Plan, implement, supervise, and monitor exercise prescription and progression in groups and one on one. Assists with the management of patient/athlete visits within the clinic performing a range of clinical responsibilities in support of the physicians. Is actively involved in learner education and occasionally conducts presentations on a variety of Athletic Training Topics.

Interaction and management of patient visit within clinic for physician
Interacts regularly with patients and others involved in the patient/athlete's care to incorporate an interdisciplinary treatment approach for coordinated quality care.

Room Maintenance and Upkeep
Responsible for basic daily and weekly maintenance, general cleanliness, and upkeep of stock in rooms.
Responsible for preparation of exam rooms for patient visits and emptying and disposal of biohazard waste and sharps containers as directed.
Assists with care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies, as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Athletic Training, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
In lieu of Master's degree, Bachelor's degree with additional 2 years certified athletic training experience.
ATHLETIC TRAINER NC LICENSE.
ATHLETIC TRAINER - NATABOC (National Athletic Trainer's Association).
BLS Certification.
Requires some level of physical activity and lifting as it pertains to ensuring patient transfers to and from exam tables.
