Responsibilities
Video Editing
* Edit and produce promotional videos, trailers, and social content in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 4:5, 9:16) for platforms such as Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and Gaia's landing pages.
* Craft engaging, visually compelling, and emotionally resonant narratives using Gaia's content
* Select music, soundbites, and visual transitions to support tone, mood, and story flow
* Apply basic color correction, audio balancing, and finishing for digital masters
* Deliver polished, on-brand assets on time and according to platform specifications
Creative Collaboration
* Work closely with the Promo, Creative Services, and Paid Media teams to align creative outputs with goals
* Collaborate with localization reviewers to ensure assets are accurately and fluently adapted for French- and/or German-speaking audiences
* Provide design support for static and animated assets when needed (display, banners, email headers, etc.)
AI Productivity & Workflow Innovation
* Use AI tools (such as Adobe AI features, Runway, ElevenLabs, Gemini, ChatGPT etc.) to streamline editing, localization, asset generation, and ideation
* Stay up-to-date with AI trends and propose new ways to incorporate emerging tech into daily workflows

Qualifications
* Must have 5+ of verifiable video editing experience

Responsibilities

Capture, edit, and compile solo, orchestral, and other performance video clips throughout the 8-week festival for year-round use on social media (approximately 5 assignments/week).
Other video project institutional needs such as highlighting student programs, donor events, livestream content, etc., as assigned.
Take videos of Festival events and people proactively at unassigned events (students busking in downtown Aspen, etc.)
Assist other video shoots as assigned.
Shooting approx. 5 days/week, 1-2 events/assignments day. Some weeks may be lighter and some heavier.
Social media intern will be available to assist for larger projects as needed.
Requirements
Must have and bring high-quality equipment capable of capturing professional footage, microphone, computer, and software appropriate for video processing.
Must have suitable, high-quality phone camera for quick turnaround clips.
Must be proficient with video editing, especially short-form social media content. Position requires ability to edit and compile video clips, including adding graphics, captions, audio, and transitions as needed.
Must be comfortable conducting interviews and giving direction during creative shoots.
Must have ability to be on time, work within a constrained classical concert environment, and respond to changing priorities.
Professional conduct and appearance are necessary at all times.
Familiarity with classical music is a plus.
A car is not required but recommended for this position.

KRDO, the ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs, has an immediate opening for an energetic and enterprising news photographer to shoot compelling video for fast paced news broadcasts and will be required to edit entire newscasts matching video to scripts. The candidate must be able to work in a pressured and competitive environment. Creative editing and live production experience required. Must be flexible in schedule and be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as reporter at local news location when no reporter is assigned. Gathers information, takes notes as necessary or ensures that basic information is on tape and relayed to the newscast producer.
Looks for and takes opportunities to capture compelling pictures and communicates with producers and reporters to make sure that the best pictures are taken and then used in telling stories.
Wear station logo shirts, drive station logo vehicles and must represent the station in a positive manner to viewers. This includes responsible and polite driving habits, professional appearance, and professional behavior “in the field” where news is gathered.
Works with reporters as a team to get the best possible video to tell each story with accuracy and maximum impact.
Edits stories as assigned in a professional manner.
