The Video Editor, Creative Studio position possesses an advanced ability for non-linear video editing in a fast-paced sport news environment. **Responsibilities** :

Who we are Academy Camps is a modern approach to the sports camp experience. We offer 1-week sessions for Boys & Girls aged 10 - 15 interested in baseball, basketball, football, soccer, squash, swimming, tennis & volleyball. Our campers choose one of our 8 "Academy Sports" and receive 2 intensive training sessions per day with our high-performance coaching staff.
We are a dedicated team of high performance coaches, nurturing & exemplary counselors, and experienced camp professionals, passionate about the 'whole athlete'. Outside of sports specific training sessions, AC is distinguished in delivering programming focused on its pillars of Performance, Wellness, Mindset, and Leadership mixed in with a healthy dose of fun through a daily schedule of traditional sleepaway camp activities.
PositionAs a member of the AC Team, the Videographer will be responsible for capturing daily video content in order to create highlight clips throughout all three summer sessions. The role involves capturing footage during our two Sports Training Sessions, our elective period, and the evening activity periods and editing footage throughout the day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Capture & create three different types of clips per session:
Daily Highlight Clips -
30-45 seconds
Highlighting the day's programming, primarily focused on the sports training sessions and the evening activities (like the AC Cup)
Session Highlight Videos -
90-120 seconds
Taking the best moments of the Daily Highlight Clips for that 1-week session
Summer 2024 Highlight Video -
2-3 minutes
Taking the best moments from the 6 session highlight videos to create an end of summer recap video
All video clips can be streamed and showcased to the full camp audience at mealtimes (for daily clips) or at an end of camp event (for the session highlight video) and will be posted to social media
