As we continue to scale, we're looking for a talented Part-Time Videographer/Editor to help bring founder-led storytelling to life across social platforms. We're looking for a skilled and creative Part-Time Videographer/Editor to support the creation of high-quality founder content for Bloom's social channels, with a focus on Instagram Reels and TikTok. Narrative direction and strategy will be provided, but this role requires someone who can own execution end-to-end, from shooting to editing, while bringing a strong creative eye, technical expertise, and social-first mindset to every project. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands social storytelling, and enjoys capturing real, human moments that perform. This person should be available to start in January with availability to work 20-30 hours a week. Responsibilities: Video Production & Editing • Direct, shoot, and edit founder-led content for Instagram Reels and TikTok. • Capture high-quality video and audio in a variety of environments (office, studio, events, travel). • Edit content with a strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and social-first best practices. • Handle basic audio mixing and cleanup to ensure polished final outputs. • Deliver assets in formats optimized for each platform. Creative Execution & Enhancements • Create light graphics, text overlays, thumbnails, and simple animations to enhance videos. • Incorporate photos, b-roll, and archival assets into edits when relevant. • Maintain visual consistency with Bloom's brand aesthetic and tone. • Stay up to date on platform trends and evolving content styles, especially within TikTok and Reels. Collaboration & Workflow • Partner closely with Bloom CEO to create content for social channels • Manage shoots and edits efficiently within allotted weekly hours. • Communicate clearly around timelines, feedback, and revisions. • Support occasional travel shoots, events, or offsite content capture as needed. Skills & Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in videography and editing, on a professional camera and with proper lighting. • Strong portfolio showcasing social-first video content (Reels/TikTok experience required). • Proficiency in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar). • Comfortable creating light graphics and animations (After Effects, Canva, or similar). • Strong understanding of social media trends, pacing, and storytelling. • Detail-oriented with a strong creative eye for composition, lighting, and sound. • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team. • Must be based in Austin, TX and available for in-person shoots. • Ability and willingness to travel when needed. • Available to start in January.
