Subject Matter Expertise
Serve as a multimedia team representative on inter-team projects.
As required, serve as the lead writer on specific projects in close coordination with Agency staff, researchers, and public information officers.
Develop and produce compelling, creative, easy-to-understand materials to engage a variety of age groups, audience, and related styles.
Write treatments and scripts, performing the requisite research and interviews to deliver meaningful content.
As required, support the development of responses regarding multimedia content for the public, media, and research community.
Team Coordination
Coordinate with scientists, engineers, Agency staff and others to obtain needed materials and to coordinate various aspects of productions.
Handle internal and external requests for information, footage and finished products, including corresponding with requestors and providing files.
Create and use spreadsheets to assist team in tracking and filling requests.
Perform archiving and other administrative, coordinating and lower-level technical support duties.
Demonstrate creative problem solving to deliver high-quality multimedia products.
Maintain production calendars/intake forms and manage request queue with clear priorities.
Establish file naming/versioning conventions and ensure secure file transfer procedures.
Quality control checks before release (correct branding, captions, audio clarity, correct formats).
Coordinate talent/location releases and permissions tracking (and store with assets).
Qualifications:
5-10 years' experience as a video and multimedia project producer.
Experience leading video teams of 3 or more in the development of video/multimedia segments, programs, or series.
Experience translating complex topics into compelling video for a wide variety of audiences.
Experience conducting and editing interviews with subject matter experts.
Experience with on-camera work.
Experience in a diverse spectrum of scriptwriting.
Knowledge of delivery specs/codecs (H.264/H.265/ProRes; WAV/MP3) and loudness normalization.
Experience working in restricted/federal IT environments and handling sensitive content appropriately.

Job Description
As an AI Video Production Intern, you will assist in editing, localizing, and enhancing product and marketing videos for global audiences. A key part of your role will be leveraging AI tools to translate and adapt English-language videos into Spanish and French, including localized motion graphics, text overlays, and voiceovers. You'll work directly with our in-house video team to apply your skills in motion design, editing, and AI-assisted workflows to create engaging, high-quality content that aligns with the Diablo brand.

Assist in editing and localizing existing video content using AI tools for translation and dubbing (English → Spanish/French).
Update and animate on-screen text, graphics, and motion elements in multiple languages.
Edit and mix audio for translated voiceovers to ensure high-quality, natural delivery.
Work with the team to maintain consistency in brand voice, design, and tone across all localized content.
Utilize Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop for video and graphic production.
Support the creation of short-form and long-form marketing videos, product demos, and motion graphics.
Collaborate with the Multimedia Manager and marketing team to brainstorm creative solutions for video adaptation and enhancement.

This full-time internship (40-hours/week) will be based onsite out of our Atlanta office from May 26-July 30, 2026. This role is not remote.
Qualifications
Current university student in good standing (min. 3.0 GPA); pursuing a Bachelor's (upcoming or current Senior year student), Master's, or Doctorate degree in Motion Design, Film/Video Production, or a related field.
Able and willing to work on-site.
Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Understanding of video editing, animation, and audio mixing fundamentals.
Familiarity with AI tools for video, voiceover, or translation workflows.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for motion, timing, and typography.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
