Position Overview
CSI SPORTS™ is seeking a Producer/Video Editor who will be a key member of the production team in our Jersey City office. This creator will utilize their storytelling and editing expertise to develop original content for broadcast distribution in the U.S. and internationally as well for our digital platforms. Key Responsibilities:
Create, prep & edit content for original series and live events for broadcast & digital using Adobe (Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop)
Edit footage according to scripts, formats & production guidelines
Write show scripts & voice over notes
Create (write and edit) promo spots, documentary segments and sizzle reels utilizing appropriate music libraries and our SAN
Edit features for live events as well as cutdowns and highlights from Live Events
Deliver final productions with the required broadcast and digital specifications
Collaborate with other team members to deliver a shared vision
Ensure assets are delivered without any issues and on time
Stay current with the latest software and AI to recommend improvements to the editing workflow
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience producing, editing & creating graphics/animations for a post-production house or network
Portfolio of high-end work including promos, features, documentary segments and sizzle reels
Must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
Expertise in delivering assets in the proper video & audio specs for broadcast and digital platforms
Experience editing boxing and/or MMA content for broadcast and digital is preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Work well in a fast-paced and changing environment

Your typical day:

Conduct documentary-style, on-camera interviews that elicit pithy compelling responses from brand “gurus” and customers (ie testimonials) and other on-camera talent.
Work with our internal team or our clientele to gather video assets (i.e.identify needed video cover, set-up locations and shoot b-roll).
Oversee the creative production of shoots in collaboration with our Account Managers.
Collaborate with editors from pre-production to delivery, including providing feedback on edits, assist conceiving of graphics and on-screen text.
Available to drive and travel to locations in order to film and gather footage and conduct interviews.
