The Team Video Producer will report to the Marketing Manager for the New York Sirens and work closely with Video Production Managers across the league and the Brand and Marketing team to create storytelling content that elevates both the team and league brands, engages fans, and drives ticket sales.
The Team Video Producer will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that showcases the team and the team's brand across all platforms. From ideation to delivery, you will lead the production process (shooting and editing), bringing complex ideas to life through captivating storytelling. Your role will require a keen visual eye, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ideate, produce, post-produce, and deliver video content for the New York/New Jersey markets, from concept development to final delivery
Develop content with a strategic focus on driving revenue and supporting key marketing objectives

What You'll Do:

What You'll Do:
Video shooting: You will be filming in and around the marina, on the water, and at various locations capturing the boating lifestyle. We typically work with minimal equipment, natural light with videographer and talent, plus occasional teammates as crew.
Editing: Editing is done in contact with the marketing coordinator and marketing team; we seek to film, edit and post content in a rapid manner. It is not uncommon for us to shoot, edit and post videos in the same day.
Diverse Content Creation: As a vital member of our marketing team, you'll be involved in all facets of content production, from strategy to media management, and every step of production. This role offers you a taste of the entire marketing landscape including creative input.
Collaboration: You'll closely collaborate with our marketing manager, content creator, and president, gaining insights into the exciting aspects of marketing and business development. You'll also have access to perks like staff events on the water, boating opportunities, incentives, and rewarding experiences both on and around the water.
Your work make a significant impact. It will help people become boaters and remain boaters and share all the benefits of time on the water with family and friends.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Collaborate with a Creative Director and team, including researching, organizing, and conceptualizing video ideas and concepts to enhance the final product.
Shooting videos in diverse settings, including outdoor locations and on the water, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
Craft background films, photos, "B" rolls, and live feeds to enhance storytelling.
Conduct interviews. Capture genuine moments and emotions of team and guests.
Editing and creating short-form videos for social media, email, and our website that resonate with our audience.
Add closed captioning, graphics, and other on-screen elements to enhance the viewer's experience.
Managing production efforts, including maintaining an organized and accessible content library.
