Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 years of editing or related experience.
Advanced understanding of non-linear editing software (Adobe Premiere, Avid, Grass Valley Edius or Qube, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
Skilled in media transfer workflows (ingest/publish/export).
Strong understanding of audio and video broadcast quality control (video scopes, audio levels, CALM Act compliance, etc.).
Ability to collaborate and work in a quick turn-around, sport newsroom environment.
Candidates must have a good computer background (Microsoft Office, Slack, Workfront, etc.).
Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Flexibility to work overtime and alter shifts/days off to accommodate projects and departmental objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Has in-depth background in non-linear editing in an area including Adobe (Premiere, AE, Audition, etc.) Grass Valley, Edius, etc.
Strong understanding of linear, non-linear, social media production workflows.
Knowledge of PC or Mac operating system.
Bilingual (written and spoken) in both English and Spanish.

We seek an individual with a keen eye for storytelling through video editing. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding and navigating YouTube's ever-evolving landscape, ensuring our content not only entertains but also engages and grows our audience.

This is a specific contract role for 3 months (may be extended) where you will be preparing episodes of the shows we work with for our media asset management platform. The role is based on-site in our offices in Brooklyn and equipment will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Downloading/Uploading through Cyberduck.
Cataloging/Organizing Content.
Audio leveling between multiple audio tracks.
Cutting up content into subclips.
Asset Management: Efficiently organize and manage video resources for quick and effective content delivery.
Requirements
Editing Proficiency: Must possess exceptional video editing skills with the capability to edit around 12 episodes daily in a high-speed environment.
Adaptability: Comfortable with rapid changes and able to pivot quickly; a true team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Experience using Adobe Premiere
Familiarity with Google Sheets.
Strong organizational and data entry skills.
Benefits
Contract rate is $25 USD per hour, invoicing and payment bi-weekly.
