Job Description Iteris, a leader in transportation data provision, is seeking a TOC Operator/Controller to support our 24-hour Traffic Operations Center. Using cutting-edge technology, you'll be monitoring traffic incidents across North America. You should be a reliable, motivated person with basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office, and online mapping applications. You should also be able to work well under pressure in order to curate traffic incidents quickly and efficiently. Prior experience in traffic, mapping, or dispatch is helpful but not required. This position is currently remote but may eventually report to an office in the greater Philadelphia area. Local candidates (within 50 miles of Philadelphia) only. We are currently hiring for all shifts, with flexible schedules that can start as early as 5:30am and end as late as 9:30pm, weekdays and weekends. Because we monitor real-time traffic, our shifts tend to be non-traditional, so if you're flexible and aren't looking for a typical 9-to-5, this job may be right for you. This entry-level position could be full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (15-30 hours per week), depending on the candidate. A strong candidate will be local to the Greater Philadelphia area and have experience with data entry and reading maps. Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
