Contract: 3 months / 40 hrs per week
We are seeking a highly skilled Videographer to to with a major University. This successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, branded video content for web and social media platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and organized individual to showcase their video production skills and contribute to the university's communications efforts.
*Key Responsibilities:
- Produce branded video content for web and social media, managing projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with the communications team on storyboards, scripts, and multimedia strategies
- Capture video footage, conduct interviews, and edit content into compelling narratives
- Maintain and archive digital assets, ensuring a seamless workflow
- Operate and maintain video equipment, ensuring top production quality
- Support University-wide events as needed
*Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of video production experience with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, etc.) and MS Office
- Strong creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Hourly Rate: $35-40.00 commensurate with experience.
This is a 3 month contract position, hybrid position in the Montpellier VT area. Remote work is not an option for this opportunity.

ROLE PURPOSE: The purpose of the Video Producer-Editor role is to work closely with the Photo & Video Manager to create and develop multimedia content that supports new product launches, existing products, and brand storytelling across social media, owned channels, and retail/e-tail platforms.
MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Produce and edit high-quality video content for product launches, brand campaigns, and digital platforms.
Collaborate with the Photo & Video Manager to align on creative vision and execution.
Develop multimedia assets for social media, owned channels, and retailer/e-tailer use.
Manage post-production workflows, including editing, sound design, color correction, and motion graphics.
Adapt content for various platforms and formats while maintaining brand consistency.
Organize and manage media files, project assets, and delivery timelines.
Contribute creative ideas during preproduction, including scripting and storyboarding.
Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and video tools.

This is a hybrid position based in Southern Vermont
The target salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. New Chapter considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
