Video product managers lead teams focusing on video services. They lead their team towards improved video experiences in various areas. They set goals and timelines for work phases to be completed, and evaluate the performance of employees as well as the products.

You will communicate the company vision to the people on your team. You will be responsible for analyzing product data and make viable decisions based on these. You will conduct product tests, making sure they meet customers' needs and align with overall company objectives as well.

You will probably need a degree and experience in product management to fill this role. You will need to understand your product thoroughly and use your analytical thinking to further improve it. You will be accountable for facilitating the independent work of cross-functional teams, so previous experience in this area will be a must.

The pandemic accelerated ongoing shifts with work-from-anywhere and use of remote meeting technologies. With mass adoption at all levels, these trends are likely to persist to some degree across fields and industries. There will likely be less travel for a number of years, but concurrently we may see more cross-team and cross-national collaboration and coordination. From an international business perspective, firms do plan to continue their globalization efforts and we know that graduates themselves increasingly seek potential global opportunities and mobility when choosing which organizations to work for.
