Video Services Corporation and its subsidiaries provided value-added video services to a variety of customers within the television network, cable, and syndicated programming markets, as of September 30, 2000. It operated in three segments: Satellite and Distribution Services, Systems and Products, and Production Services. The Satellite and Distribution Services segment integrated and distributed of broadcast video content via a satellite and fiber optic transmission network routed through its digital/analog switching center; and was an international provider of multi format technical and distribution services to distributors of video programming. Systems and Products segment provided advanced video systems for the broadcast and cable television, post-production, Internet, and corporate markets. It also provided color correcting and manipulation systems for the film, post-production, and multimedia industries; and rented professional video equipment. Production Services segment provided technical and creative services to owners and producers of television programming, television advertising, and other programming content; and Internet graphics and video market. As of 12/22/2000, Video Services Corp. is a subsidiary of Liberty Livewire Corporation.
