The seed of Vidyalankar was sown on the auspicious day of Dussehra in October 1960, when the visionary founder Prof.
Vidyalankar Classes and Publications (incepted in 1960) has an emphatic presence in academic circles across Mumbai, Maharashtra and nationwide; and has won a number of prestigious awards for excellence in coaching and franchising.
He started coaching students in 1960, in a single classroom in Dadar.
Vidyalankar classes shifted to their present location in 'Pearl Center', Dadar in 1974.
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology in 1999 which offers doctorate, postgraduate and undergraduate courses in Engineering and Management and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
The institute had humble beginnings in Pearl Center, the very same building where Vidyalankar Classes is situated; and moved to the current campus in 2001.
Vidyalankar Polytechnic in 2002 which offers diploma courses in Engineering and is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE).
