Gathers dimensions and lays them out on structural steel structures i.e. installation of conductor, Braiden-head, casing cut-offs, plug and abandon. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Welding Preparation: Obtains specified electrode, based on criteria of raw goods being welded; inserts electrode into rod holder or feed wire "consumable" through welding gun. Attach ground clamp from welding machine to work piece, to dial in the adequate amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, to known standards. Start engine driven welding machine / electric welding machine to produce desired amps.
