Quality Engineer Position Summary:
Responsible for assuring quality in all phases of the manufacturing process from suppliers to customers. Preventing defects through problem analysis and effective corrective actions. Resolves all supplier and customer quality problem reports (Open “CARS”-Corrective Action Report). Developing Quality Alerts and implementation of any quality sorting from customer site to internal sorting if necessary.

Ensures the adherence and maintenance of the Quality System to meet or surpass quality levels of the IATF 16949 standard.

This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Milford three times per week, at minimum **The Role:** The Datafile Release Specialist roles supports Vehicle Motion Embedded Controls (VMEC) Engineers and Calibrators. Responsibilities will include: releasing Controller software and calibration data files necessary for controller programming both at the vehicle assembly plants and the service organization utilizing release tools in place such as ECR, GPDS, SPR, VCAM, RTC and CalPortal. Creation of eBOMs used by the Supplier to manufacturer the Controller End Models. Updating and Maintaining Change Tracking Parts Lists for the life of the controller program.
The position involves a considerable amount of creativity, perception and a wide latitude for independent action including significant independent judgment. Additional responsibility will include occasional instruction and training of a small group of employees.
