GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
The Elite Stylist is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting with them on their hair care needs and recommending products and services. The Elite Stylist delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest's total look. They support the Experience Manager (EM) and Assistant Services Manager (ASM) and focus on performance (service sales, and productivity), people (guest service), and process (operating procedures and compliance standards). This position requires a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the aptitude to learn and communicate product knowledge.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
The Elite Stylist is a champion of Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values, and should demonstrate them skillfully and consistently by performing the following duties and responsibilities of the position (as well as all other projects/duties as assigned):
Performance
Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
Meet or exceed sales goal of $1900 average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services by delivering exceptional guest service and contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
Perform product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
Support the execution of in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives that deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
Take the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing industry trends, products, and services during work time, and be knowledgeable about the ingredients and benefits of these trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
People
Develop guest relationships through consultations and appropriate retail and service recommendations.
Serve all guests, including walk-in guests, in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop a partnership with skin therapists and the retail team to provide a total-store and well- rounded guest experience.
Establish professional peer and brand partner relationships that foster a shared interest in collaboratively delivering exceptional guest service.
Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app, with guests in the salon and salesfloor.
Attend mandatory trainings and meetings to enable continuous professional development.
Process
Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures before, during, and after services; always ensure compliance with state board guidelines.
Follow established service protocols to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
Utilize appropriate booking and clientele systems to book guests for return services and for events.
Communicate any supply needs to the Experience Manager, ensuring guest readiness at all times.
Maintain outstanding store operational standards, including cleanliness of the salon, salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, break area, and any additional assigned area.
Adhere to the Ulta Beauty dress code.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.

We operate offices in Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Lewes, and Seaford, and we are the only statewide not-for-profit outpatient behavioral health organization for children and adolescents accredited by JCAHO. Through DGS, clients and families have access to outpatient counseling, group therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and school-based services. Our community-based service lines serve youth and families who require a more intense therapeutic protocol. DGS' 24-hour statewide Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) dispatches skilled crisis intervention clinicians to provide immediate care to children experiencing behavioral health crises. Therapeutic options are available for a wide range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, traumatic stress-related disorders, and suicidal ideation. In 2021, DGS clinicians provided over 54,000 direct care hours to children, youth, and families in Delaware. Under the supervision of the Crisis Integrated Services Coordinator, the Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in coordinating care and providing support to children and youth experiencing crises. Food Preparation:

Follow recipes and adjust based on guest requests (e.g., dietary restrictions).
Assist in preparing ingredients (chopping, marinating, etc.) for dishes.
Maintain and record proper temperature controls
Carry out other duties assigned by the manager on duty and/or the kitchen manager.
Quality Control:
Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets the quality standards of the restaurant, including presentation and taste.
Ensure food products are portioned before cooking by following standard portion sizes and recipes that have been specified
Check ingredients for freshness before use and discard expired or spoiled items.
Cleanliness and Sanitation:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
Follow proper hygiene procedures (washing hands, wearing gloves, sanitizing surfaces) during food preparation.
Stock Management:
Assist with inventory management, keeping track of stock levels and notifying management when supplies are low.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality.
Properly store, rotate, and manage all food products following local, state, federal, and company guidelines and procedures.
Equipment Maintenance:
Operate kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, grills, etc.) safely.
Report any faulty equipment to the kitchen manager or maintenance staff.

Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. (DGS) is the largest provider of outpatient behavioral health services to children and families in Delaware. We operate offices in Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Lewes, and Seaford, and we are the only statewide not-for-profit outpatient behavioral health organization for children and adolescents accredited by JCAHO. In 2020, we were honored as a Compassionate Champion for our dedication to serving youth and families using a trauma-informed approach.
Through DGS, clients and families have access to outpatient counseling, group therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and school-based services. Our community-based service lines serve youth and families who require a more intense therapeutic protocol. DGS' 24-hour statewide Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) dispatches skilled crisis intervention clinicians to provide immediate care to children experiencing behavioral health crises. Therapeutic options are available for a wide range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, traumatic stress-related disorders, and suicidal ideation. In 2021, DGS clinicians provided over 54,000 direct care hours to children, youth, and families in Delaware. Over 93% of clients report improvement in their level of functioning following treatment, and therapeutic benefits derived from trauma-informed care extend to clients' siblings, caregivers, classmates, and peers.
Our client population is racially and ethnically diverse; 80% of DGS clients are Medicaid recipients and 90% have household incomes under $30,000. Summary/objective

Title of Position: Catering Manager
Job Description: Our Catering Manager plays a dynamic role in our business by assisting our customers. We plan and host parties at home or celebrations in offices by arranging to have our menu items, heating equipment, and relevant party supplies prepared for the event. This professional will meet with the customer to organize the details of the function and will ensure operational compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving. The Catering Manager will report the progress of the caterings to the General Manager as needed and will be responsible for coordinating with additional departments and will investigate and resolve issues regarding food quality or service.

Responsible for coordinating entire station and communicating with back-of-the-house or Banquet Management personnel to provide a banquet dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations. Observes dinners to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service, responds to additional requests and determines when the meal has been completed. Responsibilities include stocking, removing, and resetting dishes and silverware between courses or functions and cleaning server station after a function.
These duties may be described as, but not limited to:
Obtains assigned service station from banquet management at start of work shift.
Greet guests with a smile and answers questions regarding food, beverage, and service.
Take food and beverage orders from guests (written or memorized) and relays order accurately to kitchen staff and bartender as appropriate.
Processes guests' orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. Communicates with banquet management, kitchen staff, and bartender and coordinates entire station to ensure guest satisfaction with the food and service.
Serves courses from kitchen and service areas promptly, ensuring proper presentation and garnishing
Observes dinners to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service, responds to any additional requests, and determines when the meal has been completed.
After the banquet has concluded the server is responsible for stocking work stations, removing and resetting soiled dishes and silverware from table.
Requirements:
Must be available weekends and holidays. Must be available for shifts that may start as early as 6AM and end as late as 1AM.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location. Must be able to speak and understand the primary language(s) of the guests who typically visit the work location.
Varies, depending on the type of restaurant and level of service required; a knowledge of the sequence of service and banquet procedures, and must be customer sensitive and possess a sense of timing so that different courses may be served at the proper time.
Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to five (5) hours in length.
