Responsibilities The essential job duties/responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the information listed below: Quality Assurance Responsibilities: Works closely with Program Leadership to develop and implement performance standards for the Behavioral Health & Integrated Care Divisions. Accountable for preparing programs for initial, routine and follow-up regulatory and licensing review; works in collaboration with the Executive Director of CBHC, VP of Behavioral Health and Director of Compliance. Conducts or oversees routine audits of program records or workflows aligned with regulatory requirements and performance improvement initiatives. Partners with Program Leadership to communicate quality standards, processes and improvement objectives to program staff. Maintains records, reports, and correspondence in conjunction with all internal and external regulatory standards and processes. Tracks and monitors program licenses, and deficiency statements. Writes management reports as needed. Assists in the development, review and revision of Policy and Procedures as directed by operations leadership and compliance division. When needed, conducts investigations; ensures quality of documentation for incidents reporting, internal reviews, and investigations; consults on issues related to reviews and investigations. Delivers presentations and conducts training related to quality standards and quality improvement, as needed. Quality Improvement Responsibilities: Consults and collaborates with operations leaders and teams to design and implement effective quality improvement projects that achieve goals. Creates and contributes to culture of continuous quality improvement within BH and Integrated Care divisions Day to day project management responsibilities for projects outlined in our CBHC CQIEP plan and health equity strategy, as well as payer-based quality improvement projects for care coordination Researches and recommends alternative methods, processes, and procedures to solve problems and improve in areas that need improvement. Contributes meaningfully to implementation of quality improvement initiatives, including conducting root cause analyses, developing workflows, or measuring progress of tests of change. Supports operations leaders to plan for and execute change management initiatives including developing communication plans, planning for and understanding resistance to change, and engaging with key stakeholders to support the overall objectives. Provides consultation to programs and management on systems improvement and data interpretation. Manages specific and ad hoc projects designed to improve the quality of Vinfen systems, effective processes, customer service and outcomes. Chairs the BH and integrated care CQI Meetings. Quality Team: Directs and manages the activities of Quality Improvement Specialists. Hires; provides direction, training, and coaching; and evaluates their performance. Utilizes staff appropriately with the goal of optimizing effort and achieving operational and financial goals. Works cross-functionally with Quality, Analytics, IT, Compliance, BH and Integrated Care teams to meet requirements Attends and participates in internal and external meetings consistent with the responsibilities of this position, including the CBHC Advisory Group, the IDC meeting, meetings with State regulators. Performs other related duties, as required. Knowledge and Skills: Experiencing managing complex quality improvement projects in highly regulated environments to achieve goals Strong project management skills Strong organizational, analytical, presentation and communication skills; ability to organize and lead diverse teams Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and competing priorities, demonstrating leadership, self-direction and flexibility Experience working in locations licensed by DMH, DPH and/or BSAS or awareness of regulatory frameworks for behavioral health clinics preferred Experience reviewing and understanding regulatory guidelines and translating to workflows or actions Knowledge of or experience applying established quality improvement processes (LEAN, PDSA, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc) Knowledge about Massachusetts behavioral health reform, community behavioral health centers and care coordination programs Ability to provide leadership and team management to staff. This person would be someone interested in group care and learning to run a program who does not yet have the experience to do so. Our team would train the Program Administrator Fellow at one or more of the five Meadowridge Residential and Educational programs in all of the key elements of program management and leadership. The goal would be that the fellow would be prepared for future leadership opportunities. The Meadowridge Schools are each responsible for the care and treatment of approximately 36 students and employ over 65-85 staff members. The Program Administrator Fellow will work in partnership with JRI Program Directors or Division Directors. The Program Administrator Fellow is responsible for supervision of any assigned department heads and support staff, as appropriate to the program design. What You'll Do: Assume overall responsibility for all facility operations and program scheduling. Continuously enhance service provision for all students. Monitor program services to ensure compliance with regulations and standards set by licensing and funding agencies, including securing all required licenses and certificates to operate the program. Ensure adequate staffing for both direct service and administrative roles by advertising vacancies, conducting interviews, checking references, hiring staff, and providing input on hiring decisions. Learn the functions of all program personnel and the systems they are responsible for. Meet regularly with assigned supervisees to ensure that services are aligned with student needs, appropriate communication takes place, documentation is accurate and timely, and that the environment is therapeutic and safe. Cultivate strong liaison relationships with JRI corporate staff, families, and agencies concerned with the welfare of JRI students. We are an independent living program that houses young individuals from 18-24 years old in small efficiency-type apartments or shared-living housing throughout the Metro, Boston, Central, Northeast and Southeast DCF regions. Salary: Starting at $20/hr JRI Provides Training So That: You will provide case management to youth to teach them to navigate community resources, make referrals, secure adult services/benefits, and secure a network of permanency and providers post-discharge. You will teach life skills that include driving, medical appointments, acquiring legal docs, budgeting, cooking, education, volunteering job searching/maintenance, community resources and classes, and communication skills. The LTSS Supervisor provides team oversight of care coordination and clinical care management for MassHealth Members with complex medical and behavioral health needs who are enrolled in an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) or Managed Care Organization (MCO) plan. The Supervisor collaborates with the Community Partner team and the clinical staff of each Enrollee's ACO/MCO's plan to minimize duplicative efforts, promote integrated care, ensure quality and continuity of care, and support the values of person-centered planning. The Supervisor is at the helm of organizing and coordinating resources and services in response to the Enrollees' healthcare needs across multiple settings, and inclusive of both LTSS and SDH needs. This role drives assessment and care planning, care transitions, health and wellness coaching, as well as community and social services connections across a multi-disciplinary care team for CCP enrollees. The Children's Advocacy Center of Bristol County, a program of JRI, coordinates the investigative response for all child sexual abuse, physical abuse, CSEC and witness to violence reports, in the County. Children come to our center for a Forensic Interview where they share the details of their abuse, while investigative team observes. Children and families can experience a wide variety of emotions on the day of their visit so we never use a one-size, fits all approach. Our staff meets with parents/caregivers, identifying service and treatment needs, and making referrals for services, as needed. Staff remain connected and involved with the family for as long as they need the support. Additionally, the CAC has HARP (the Healing & Resiliency Program), which provides trauma, informed clinical services to children and families. Internship could follow a few different paths: The HARP program accepts one Master's level intern (2nd year placements), per school year, to work in a clinical capacity with children and families affected by trauma. Interns provide individual, family and group treatment. Interns will gain experience in completing comprehensive assessments, developing clinical formulations, writing treatment plans, and facilitating clinical measures to children and parents. In addition we also accept Bachelor's level or Masters level students for internships that have the opportunity to experience a non-clinical placement at our CAC. This experience covers a variety of experiences including working directly with parents/caregivers on the day of their child's Forensic Interview. Interns have the opportunity to assess child and family needs, provide support, and make necessary referrals for community services. In this role, they work closely with the multidisciplinary team responsible for investigating the report of abuse.
