Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Position Summary:
The Mechanical Project Manager & Estimator will play a dual role: lead mechanical project preconstruction estimating and then transition into project management for execution. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on mechanical estimating experience in commercial or industrial projects, strong project management chops, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, vendors, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of mechanical cost estimates (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor scopes) for commercial/industrial mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, sheet metal, custom fabrication).
Review project documents, drawings, specifications; perform quantity take‑offs; identify risk and value engineering opportunities.
Collaborate with sales, design, field operations, and subcontractors/vendors to create competitive proposals and budgets.
Once awarded, transition into project management: assume responsibility for mechanical project execution, including scheduling, budget control, subcontractor management, quality, safety, and close‑out.
Maintain and monitor budgets, change orders, progress reporting, cost forecasting, and margin analysis.

Ensure compliance with mechanical code, industry standards, contract requirements, and internal processes.
Mentor and coordinate with junior estimators/project engineers when needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5‑10 years of experience in mechanical estimating for commercial or industrial mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, sheet‑metal).
Minimum 5 years of mechanical project management experience (commercial/industrial) preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical construction, systems, installation methods, codes and standards.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., FastDUCT, FastPIPE, Bluebeam, Trimble, etc.) and project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

You will be responsible for leading orientations, teaching OSHA 10 & 30 as well as First Aid/CPR/AED and other topics, as necessary. Additionally, you will be working directly with field crews to make sure everyone is trained properly and goes home safely at the end of the day. You will also be responsible for maintaining the classroom/training environment (seating, materials, devices). This role is a key part of keeping our site compliant, efficient, and safety focused.
The Specifics of the Role
Lead new-hire and subcontractor orientations on site.
Teach OSHA 10 - Construction, OSHA 30 - Construction, and First Aid/CPR/AED courses for construction teams and other topics, as needed.
Coach and mentor crews on safe work practices and jobsite expectations.
Maintain up-to-date training and attendance records.
Support daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and field walkdowns.
Be a visible safety presence in the field - not just classroom training.

Must possess the physical ability to safely navigate active construction sites. Must be able to walk long distances, stand for extended periods without support, and work at various heights as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Cryptologic Technicians perform a variety of duties worldwide, at numerous overseas and stateside shore commands, aboard surface ships, aircraft and submarines and with Naval Special Warfare. They generally divide time between assignments ashore and afloat.
PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Cryptologic Technicians in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.

General
This is a full-time position that will report directly to the Line Maintenance Supervisor with oversight from the Director of Maintenance (DOM). The responsibilities include the day-to-day aircraft maintenance needs of the Company involving a variety of maintenance tasks relating to the Company's aircraft and engines. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high mechanical aptitude, exemplary work ethic, strong knowledge of line maintenance, and proficient in FAA regulations. Excellent communication skills are required, and the successful candidate must be able to exhibit the values and culture of the company while working in a fast-paced/dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform aircraft maintenance per manufacturers' recommendations and adhere to approved procedures and data while performing their duties.
Meet aircraft, check aircraft maintenance logs, and respond to discrepancies entered in the logbook.
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft.
References the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, the Illustrated Parts Catalog, the Structural Repair Manual, the Component Maintenance Manuals, and the wiring diagrams to perform work on aircraft.
Completes required paperwork accurately using procedures set forth in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
Uses only approved and certified hardware, parts, and equipment to be installed or used on aircraft.
Promotes teamwork amongst maintenance personnel and flight crews.
Maintains workspaces, materials, and tooling IAW company policies and procedures, industry best practices, and appropriate housekeeping.
Upholds safety and security procedures and awareness.
Has the ability to obtain additional qualifications through training and education as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) Diploma, or higher.
A valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
Ability to successfully pass assessment which demonstrates knowledge of line maintenance under part 121 operations.
Two (2) years of experience on commercial aircraft in a part 121 environment (Boeing 767 & Boeing 737 classic experience highly preferred)
Basic avionics knowledge and skill is highly preferred
Ability to occasionally travel to airport/aircraft field locations with little or short notice.
Ability to drive tugs, trucks, taxi aircraft, lift trucks, snorkel lifts, boom lifts, and tractor and/or other maintenance vehicles.
Ability to communicate effectively, in both oral and written communication.
Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb, and stoop frequently in confined spaces.
Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets the Company's insurance standards.
Active Passport
Pass a two (2) year drug and alcohol background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC)
Eligible to work in the United States
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and the Internet
Familiarity with accessing online aircraft manuals.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Work will include outdoors with seasonal weather.
Ability to work in elevated areas.
Position requires extremely strenuous physical work sometimes involving objects in excess of seventy (70) to one hundred (100) pounds, i.e., very heavy.
