Requirements:

Responsibilities entail all technical and conceptual sales aspects of the AVANOS Enteral Feeding product portfolio including, but not limited to, the validation of product cost/value proposition sustaining the existing book of business and leading to increased year on year sales as per the AVANOS Enteral Feeding sales plan and territory sales objectives.
Product Responsibility:
Enteral feeding tubes and accessories, radiologic/surgical tube placement kits, enteral feeding tube placement hardware (capital) and disposables, enteral feeding tube retention, enteral feeding intolerance, diagnostic and endoscopic accessories, and any other products as determined by commercial leadership.

The Specialty Nutrition Systems, Long-Term Feeding Account Consultant will be responsible for a continued demonstration of sales expertise of appropriate skills and functions that include but are not limited to product presentations, clinical presentations (including bedside coaching and case support functions), product pricing, sales territory management, internal and external communication, accurate sales forecasting/reporting. These activities are to result in net sales and profit growth by achieving product and sales category objectives within an assigned sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales positioning, analysis, and in-service implementation of all AVANOS Enteral Feeding product categories leading to year-on-year sales increases as per the AVANOS DH sales plan
The development and demonstration of business value selling skills and overall AVANOS sales acumen
Developing and maintaining expertise across the entire range of AVANOS EF products and service platforms
Tactical implementation of selling and business activities developed by region, National Sales Director, and VP of Sales, to meet sales objectives

The Substance Use Disorder Therapist-Licensed will perform assessments, facilitate group sessions, as well as complete individual, family and weekly programs for clients who suffer from addiction. The Substance Use Disorder Therapist will use industry recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions and be a active member of our Treatment Team. The Substance Use Disorder Therapist will make appropriate referrals and complete all required paperwork per timelines established to ensure successful coordination of care and billing of services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform intake screening and assessments unless otherwise assigned to a central intake staff.
Perform and/or monitor all duties associated with program administrative functions including but not limited to psychosocial assessments and admission documentation, contacts with all referral sources and family, urine drug screens, and ensure that treatment has been authorized with the payer source both initial and concurrent.
Provide psychoeducational programming to include didactic, audio visual, and other formats of teaching that are appropriate for this level of care.
Perform the clinical group process portion of the program using industry recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions.
Perform individual and family sessions as needed.
Perform the weekly family education and weekly programs.
Maintain the expected census in each group sessions.
Present appropriate cases at the weekly treatment team and participate in clinical supervision as scheduled and/or necessary.
Develop a system for tracking current census, scheduling and performance of assessments of potential admissions.
Maintain current CPR certification, yearly TB testing, and annual TB Screening Certification as required by the state.
Assist with business development and marketing functions.
For Licensed staff:
As a licensed clinician working for Health Connect America your NPI number will be used to bill for services performed by those being supervised by you.
As a licensed clinician you will be responsible for ensuring that your credentials remain current, you comply with all training requirements, and you are adequately supervising your staff.
Qualifications:
Specific Requirements:
Master's degree in human services or related field.
Candidates must possess either a valid Licensed Practical Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
Required clinical experience in Substance Use Disorder Treatment, preferably in a mental health or behavioral health setting.

The GW Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) was incorporated in July 2000 as a not-for-profit, physician-led practice group. The organization functioned as an independent organization in support of The George Washington University School of Medicine and Sciences as a multi-specialty physician practice group. The GW MFA has grown to become the largest independent academic physician practice in the Washington, DC metro region with 375 physicians and 100 APP providers. MFA physicians provide comprehensive patient care, offering one practice for the whole person with 52 medical and surgical specialties. As members of the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences faculty, MFA providers are teachers and mentors for medical students, residents, fellows, and researchers preserving the rich tradition of academics, research, and healing. In addition to maintaining a closely integrated alliance with The George Washington University and The George Washington University Hospital (GWUH) which is separately owned and operated by Universal Health Services (UHS), the GW MFA has active referring relationships with 12 area hospitals.

Position Summary
Lead the development and coordination of the prior authorization team as they serve the GWMFA providers. Serve as a member of the Specialty Pharmacy team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist:
* Perform continuous quality improvement of prior authorization and pharmacy-initiated refill program.
* Initiate prior authorizations for medications and work with providers on completion.
* Confirm patient demographics are accurate and insurance information is correct.
* Communicate with clinical team and patients about prior authorization and refill status and provide updates accordingly.
* Identify patient foundation assistance and manufacturer copay assistance programs.
* Follow-up with pharmacy to ensure the medication is in process after approval received.
* Process prior authorization renewals.
* Work with provider to resolve prior authorization peer to peer reviews, and denials.
* Transcription of new prescriptions to patient profile.
* Ensure correct third-party adjudication of specialty medications.
* Communicate with nurses and patients about prescription order status and provide updates accordingly.
* Communicate copays with patients before ordering medications.
* Make sure that specialty medications with existing PAR levels are appropriately stocked.
* Notify patient when medication is available for pickup and/or schedule delivery.
* Basic familiarity of proper medication dosing, use and required monitoring parameters for specialty medications.
* Perform refill reminders for patients on specialty medications and follow up with prescriber if out of refills.
* File all completed prescriptions in accord with department standards.
* At all times, maintain a courteous interaction with patients, visitors, departments and medical personnel.
* Compliance with all established personnel and departmental polices.
* Preparation of prescriptions for pharmacist's review, in accordance with federal and local regulations (including labeling).
* Refer issues which require professional judgement to a pharmacist for follow up.
* Screen, hire, coach and discipline team members.
* Manage a program of continuous quality improvement of team members, ensuring that employee focus, engagement, productivity and accuracy exceed provider/department expectations.
Minimal Qualifications
Education
* High school graduation; two years college training is desirable.
Licensure
* Active DC Pharmacy Technician license required; Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
Experience
* Two years of verified experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, nursing home, medical center or hospital pharmacy, required. One year of specialty pharmacy experience (preferred).
Physical Requirements
* Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for long periods of time in a clinical setting.
* Must be able to occasionally lift or carry and push or pull up to 100 lbs. as part of the role
* Regularly exposed to healthcare settings that may require personal protective equipment
