In this position, the Etch Operator will help the cell meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate.
Job Location:
Hollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.
What you will be doing:
Verify etching equipment is in proper working condition before using.
Make-up all etching/plating chemicals per routings and manufacturing procedures.
Chemical changeovers using proper PPE
Inspect substrates for proper photoresist quality prior to etching.
Touch up intricate images, holes, slots using a hand/foot dispenser and microscope.
Wet etch substrates using manual and automated methods.
Verify critical dimensions (CD's) on substrates as required using Nikon microscope system.
Tape test or otherwise inspect etched substrates to ensure quality etching.
Strip photoresists from substrates and inspect 100% for complete cleanliness.
Operate XRF metal thickness measurement system

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and measuring components and finished products to ensure full compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, supporting continuous improvement, and upholding company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, test, and measure components and completed products to verify conformance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Use precision measurement tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers to evaluate product dimensions and quality.
Approve or reject finished items based on inspection results.
Ensure all products meet company and customer quality standards.
Quarantine and document any materials or products that fail to meet specifications.
Communicate inspection findings with production, engineering, and other relevant teams.
Record and maintain accurate inspection and test data, including detailed documentation of results.
Perform incoming parts inspections to verify supplier quality.
Manage quality‑related communications with vendors, including issues related to nonconforming materials.
Maintain statistics and reports on rejected materials, failures, quality concerns, and vendor returns.
Oversee and maintain the calibration program for all in‑house test equipment and tools.
Ensure proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls are followed within manufacturing areas.

What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll support the uptime and reliability of production and facility equipment across our optics manufacturing, thin film coating, and infrared lens assembly areas. You'll:
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of equipment, including automated, CNC, pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, and electrical systems (up to 480V).
Use our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and plan future work.
Perform preventive maintenance and develop procedures to improve equipment reliability.
Relocate and install equipment as needed.
Operate scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Collaborate with internal teams and OEM vendors to resolve equipment issues and complete improvement projects.
Handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.
Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, including kaizen events and daily problem-solving.
Follow safety protocols such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized workspace through 5S practices.
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience with production equipment (CNC experience preferred).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, and vacuum systems.
Comfortable working with electrical systems up to 480V using proper PPE and LOTO procedures.
Experience using electronic measurement tools (e.g., DMM, ammeter, oscilloscope).
Basic computer skills and ability to use CMMS software.
Ability to operate scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks.
Willingness and ability to wear PPE for respiratory, eye, skin, and hearing protection.

What you will be doing:

Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay UltraSource is currently seeking applicants for a Final Visual Inspector. This role will be responsible for performing final visual inspection of our thin film circuits while maintaining the degree of excellence required by our customers. This includes following AS9100 policies, procedures and work instructions and viewing quality as top priority.

Hollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.
What you will be doing:
Performing accurate visual inspection of raw materials in accordance with customer drawings, workmanship standards and specification requirements.
Operate measuring equipment to verify product's dimensional accuracy
Perform accurate computer transactions within ERP system
Conducting visual inspection to verify fine detail work
Documenting and reporting inspection findings and results
Reading and interpreting acceptable standards and quality requirements
Other responsibilities as required
What you will bring along:
2+ years of visual microscope inspection experience required
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to sit and inspect product through microscope for up to 8 hours/shift
Ability to use and read basic inspection and metrology tools including micrometers and calipers
Must be able to read, comprehend and interpret dimensional drawings
Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, and outlook)
Ability to product quality work under pressure and at times in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred
