Pay Range: $38- $42 per Hour
Full Time: 40 hours per week
What you will be doing:
Coordinates with external sources for purchasing, fabricating and processing of parts and materials. Places purchase orders with heat treaters and parts suppliers for on-time deliveries.
Modifies, assembles and repairs equipment/tooling working to prints, sketches, equipment manuals, and verbal instructions with a minimum amount of direction.
Machine parts to close tolerance for tool and die accuracy as required.
Will perform light tooling design with a minimum of direction
Assist Engineers in the development and implementation of new processes, workstations, or tooling.
Plans, reviews and performs all the mechanical preventive maintenance tasks for equipment and tooling in Ontario.
Schedules the activities required for the tool room, repair or equipment maintenance
Trains Mexico personnel on the maintenance and set-up of manufacturing equipment.
Maintains spare parts inventory for the maintenance of equipment in Mexico and Ontario.
Travels to Mexico to oversee or perform the maintenance, repair or setup of equipment.
Support the potentiometer lines.

What you will bring along:
5 years related experience as Journeyman, Tool Maker, or Senior Machinist.
Good Communication Skills.
Knowledge of pneumatic equipment is a plus.
Desirable experience with 3D software (SolidEdge or Equivalent) & CAD/CAM for CNC programming (Mastercam or equivalent)
Basic understanding skills of machine shop mathematics including geometry and trigonometry.
Basic un understanding skills of principles of Total preventive maintenance.
Knowledge of all lockout/tagout procedures.
Must follow ISO-9001,14001,45001 standards.
Must be able to lift up to 60lbs and move large equipment and 52-gallon drums.
Must be able to work in confined areas under machines or workbenches.
