More nurses and Home Health Aides had to be hired and the staff had increased to 130 employees by mid-1991.
The Board voted to purchase it and the closing took place on March 13, 1992.
The staff did run a tag sale and made $1,300 under the leadership of Janice Furcinite and Louise Withers in 1992.
A year ago Elaine Andersen concluded four terms as president and Clare Lahey once again took the helm on March 29, 1994.
