We are looking for a driven Senior Clinical Validation Project Manager to join our team at Canon Medical Informatics! In this role you will oversee the design and execution of high-impact clinical validation studies for Canon Medical informatics' flagship SaMD platform. You will architect multi-site research programs, curate and qualify medical imaging datasets, and produce submission-grade scientific/clinical evidence to accelerate time-to-market for AI/ML-enabled features. You will work cross functionally to create and refine protocols, and align regulatory strategy to deliver compliant, audit-ready results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program & Project Management
* Lead the full lifecycle of clinical validation programs, from proposal and feasibility assessment through protocol design, execution, analysis, and delivery of regulatory-grade evidence for submissions (e.g., FDA 510(k)/CE marking)
* Build and execute project plans (scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines); proactively removing roadblocks
* Manage risk registers, escalations, and dependencies
* Conduct kickoff meetings, weekly status reports, retrospective meetings, and process improvement cycles
* Maintain documentation for agendas, meeting minutes, action items, decision logs, and version-controlled study materials
* Provide clear communication with stakeholders across Product, Regulatory and Engineering teams
Data Management & Analysis
* Source, contract, catalog, de-identify, and curate heterogeneous datasets (≥1,000 cases/year)
* Maintain a centralized dataset library with traceability, auditability, and access control
* Perform data selection and readiness checks: filter datasets to meet study criteria, run subgroup analyses, and generate descriptive statistics on data distributions
Site Liaison & Enablement
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard external clinical sites and principal investigators
* Collaborate with Legal/Procurement Teams to draft agreements (e.g., SOWs, data-use, BAAs)
* Conduct onsite and virtual visits; ensure timely data returns
* Develop and deliver training materials, onboard radiologists and annotators
* Oversee annotation workflows, quality checks, and adjudication processes
* Prepare infrastructure (hardware/cloud), install/configure study software, and provide operational support
* Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and feedback loops with site teams
Study Design & Execution (Regulatory Documentation)
* Drive the creation, iteration, and refinement of study designs: partner with subject-matter experts, statisticians, and product/regulatory leads to shape initial proposals into finalized, approved study protocols
* Scope and manage study budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory expectations
* Collaborate with statisticians during study execution for formal performance analysis (e.g., accuracy/sensitivity/specificity, comparing ground-truth annotations to device outputs)
* Draft and refine validation reports and supporting evidence for 510(k)/CE submissions
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Required
* 5+ years of experience in clinical validation, clinical research operations, or regulated software/medical-device programs

The Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic relationships with influential clinical experts in the field of General Imaging Ultrasound. This role is critical in driving market adoption, shaping clinical perception, and accelerating sales growth through targeted engagement with KOLs who influence purchasing decisions, clinical protocols, and peer education.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic KOL Engagement: Develop and execute a comprehensive KOL strategy to support commercial objectives, including product launches, clinical validation, and market expansion.
Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical teams to leverage KOL relationships in driving product awareness, differentiation, and preference among key customer segments.
Market Influence: Facilitate KOL-led educational initiatives, webinars, and peer-to-peer programs that promote clinical excellence and highlight the value of our General Imaging Ultrasound solutions.
Clinical Advocacy: Support KOLs in publishing clinical data, presenting at conferences, and participating in advisory boards to enhance product credibility and visibility.
Feedback Loop: Serve as a conduit between the field and internal teams by gathering insights from KOLs to inform product development, messaging, and sales strategies.
Impact on Sales:
Accelerate Adoption: By building trust and credibility through KOL advocacy, this role will directly influence purchasing behavior and shorten sales cycles.
Expand Market Reach: KOL-driven education and endorsement will help penetrate new accounts and expand usage within existing ones.
Drive Revenue Growth: Strategic KOL partnerships will support upselling and cross-selling opportunities, contributing to overall revenue targets in the General Imaging Ultrasound segment.
Enhance Competitive Positioning: KOL insights and support will strengthen our value proposition and differentiate our offerings in a competitive marketplace.
Other responsibilities:
Ability to have high-end clinical discussions with clinicians across the General Imaging continuum and articulate our core value proposition
Attend and support all major national tradeshows and generate opportunities for strategic GE HealthCare stakeholders and our KOL's to meet
Ability to travel up to, but not limited to, 60% of your time to support business needs
Remain current on clinical trends and procedures
Required Qualifications
+6 years ultrasound sales and/or clinical experience
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally while successfully managing competing priorities
Strong strategic thinker with the ability to formulate, develop, and execute strategy
Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Desired Characteristics
Master's degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Desire to work in an open, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
Product Marketing experience is desirable
Previous experience developing and managing Key Opinion Leaders is highly preferred

In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Anticipated Schedule/Territory
Full time availability required to support regional operations
Flexibility required for frequent travel to sites in territory
Territory will cover the Twin Cities and surrounding area
Responsibilities:
Accountable for ensuring the highest level of quality and customer service through management of daily operations and supervision of team responsibilities.
Supervises and coaches Technologists, Medical Imaging Assistants and Drivers with respect to all required job duties.
Manages and oversees daily operations of all assigned scanners
Responds and resolves operational issues timely, including off hour emergencies.
Completes ROM observations and conducts team meetings with all staff as required.
Works toward the improvement and development of the network, the equipment and its people.
Assesses equipment performance and works with service vendors to ensure quality and maximize up time.
Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company sponsored training programs.
Ensures compliance with all applicable policies and guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to: Quality Assurance, Transportation/Safety, and Health/Safety.
Works with Regional VP and/or Director of Field Operations in handling staffing issues such as hiring, utilization, promotions, performance management, disciplinary actions and terminations.
Performs pro-active recruiting efforts to include; interviewing, attendance at various state and regional conferences, school presentations and job fairs.
Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
May perform additional duties such as Technologist, Medical Assistant and or Driver, as required.
Provides applications support as needed to ensure the exam quality of the customer is being met.
Qualifications:
Must be certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N)
Must possess an active permit to practice where applicable.
Must possess valid driver's license with good driving record.
Previous management experience preferred
