Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Job Details:

* Manager VTC scheduling and provide live event support
* Maintain IT and AV equipment related to information displays, digital signage, monitors, laptops, video record devices and other related end user devices
* Operate and manage equipment for presentations, sound, lighting and audio/video conferencing
* Create and manage user accounts
* Develop SOP's for utilization of conference center equipment
* Escalate IT issues to Tier III when needed
* Provide workstation (thick and thin client), VoIP device, and voice and video conference support
* Manage hardware in all stages including unpacking and setup of end user devices
* Resolve IT incidents from cradle to grave, working closely with engineering teams and other contractor stakeholders when IT issues require Tier III escalation or have external dependencies
* Install application software on end-user device workstations via scripted install packages

* Provide user education and training in basic hardware and software functions
* Create and maintain documentation and SOPs to train new employees
* Use ServiceNow-based ticketing database to track, update, and close break/fix incident tickets and fulfill new requests
* Identify and execute process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degree
* Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
* Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification
* Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
* Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

COVID-19: This position requires contractor personnel to attest to being fully vaccinated or, if not fully vaccinated, provide weekly testing results if located at facilities in medium and high community levels. Weekly testing is not required for individuals located at facilities at low community levels. Based on rates measured by the CDC, those located at facilities in counties with high community levels must always wear a mask. Position

Pacific Office Automation currently has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an entry-level Mitel VoIP Tech at our Beaverton, OR office.

Essential Job Duties

  • Providing high-quality support to our clients by configuring, programming, installing, maintaining, upgrading and servicing our core Mitel products including:
    • MiVoice Business
    • Unified Communications
    • MiCollab Audio
    • Web and Video
    • NuPoint Voicemail
    • Contact Center
    • IP and SIP phones
    • wireless phones
  • Perform advanced telecommunications activities, including but not limited to network and phone system troubleshooting.
  • Receive service orders as dispatched by the Operations Coordinator.
  • Communicate with the Operations Coordinator on an ongoing basis providing the status of the order, along with completion ETA.
  • Complete technical training and complete all required documentation in our service order software system.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Internet and Microsoft Office applications to include, but not limited to Word and Excel
  • Must be detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills to interact successfully with customers, management, and team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced working environment, especially when dealing with time-sensitive issues and mandated deadlines

Experience

  • Minimum 1-year experience with IP Telephony
  • Experience documenting details of work on service orders
  • Certification and/or experience on Mitel MiVoice Business
  • Experience with installation, troubleshooting, programming phone system applications, and VOIP systems preferably Mitel
