Understands the design of the construction that will be inspected. Documenting and communicating the results of the inspection and communicates to the manager. Employment Type Regular Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Certifications from a State Highway Agency or National Entity such as ACI (American Concrete Institute) or NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) in earthwork, asphalt, and concrete if required by the client or jurisdiction in which they will be working. Must possess a valid driver's license. 4 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. The position will also compile and report quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives. This role collaborates closely with the QA/QC Program Manager and manufacturing teams. This role will be in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Final Product Inspection: Conduct detailed QA/QC inspections on finished goods to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate inspection records for multi-sites, generate quality reports, and track non-conformance issues in the QMS. Metrics & KPI Reporting: Collect and analyze quality data, prepare and provide weekly/monthly reports to the QA/QC Program Manager. Compliance Verification: Ensure adherence to company SOPs, vendors provide QAQC reports, and customer requirements before shipment. Root Cause Feedback: Communicate defects and trends to manufacturing teams for corrective action and continuous improvement. Remote Coordination: Collaborate with QA/QC Program Manager and site teams to resolve quality issues and align on standards. Final Approval: Serve as the last checkpoint for quality before products are released for delivery to site. Qualifications and Requirements: 3+ years in QA/QC inspection or manufacturing quality roles. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in quality reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills for remote collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Familiarity with ERP/QMS systems.
