The successful candidate will perform technical duties supporting engineers and other professionals in the administration of highway construction. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited university. Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning or related field from an accredited university preferred. AICP or Certification preferred. 10+ years of progressive transportation planning experience, with at least 5 years of project management experience. The ideal candidate will assist their department by performing basic engineering-related tasks including research, development, design and delivery on assigned project(s). These reports are used in an evaluation process that determines the structural integrity and the capability of structures to support loads imposed on them by the traveling public and/or natural forces.
