This geography is based in the Eastern half of the US, close to a major airport. Position will be reporting to the VP of Sales and is responsible for profitably growing AHF's position with single family home builders by working in collaboration with AHF distributors, contractors, and owners to influence the specification and purchase of AHF products across multiple brands.
JOB DUTIES:
* Leads and manages relationships with Strategic and National Builders
* Owns and manages all Request for Proposals (RFPs) from Builders
* Grow the builder business and increase/maintain market share profitably by creating customer value and competitive advantages.
* Communicate new Builder product introductions and perform line reviews.
* Manage pricing, marketing programs, promotions, and initiatives
* Achieve regional Builder goals in sales volume, mix, new products, and pricing
* Influence people who make buying/selling decisions and have a positive influence on others' behavior
* Develop productive relationships with key distributor, contractor, and AHF personnel
* Communicate and effectively track all new business development opportunities and initiatives through CRM
* Works with customers to comply with AHF specifications.
* Manage and reduce claim's expense
* Works on developing, implementing, and managing Regional Builder Rebate programs coordinated with Distribution
* Implement model home programs & co-op fund strategy to attract customers while maximizing ACP economic opportunity
* Support pricing and other profit building initiatives
* Participate with sales management team in development of sales strategies for strategic accounts. Identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the organization-wide strategy
* Analyze competitive activities and recommend response or action as needed.
* Strong link with Marketing in seeking new products and business opportunities
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS/BA in Marketing/Business or equivalent experience
* Building products industry experience
* Strategic builder selling / specification experience
* Strong presentation and group facilitation skills required
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Computer proficiency (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Up to 50% business travel, including overnight.

: Responsible for partnering with the Facilities Best Practices Team (“FBPT”), which consists of Operations leaders from each of the Company's Strategic Business Units. Facility Maintenance
: Work with the General Counsel and operations team to address facility maintenance and repair issues in accordance with the Company's lease agreements. Additionally, responsible for the facility maintenance needs of the Company's headquarters in Addison, IL.
Experience, Education and Skills
This position requires the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. The candidate must have strong negotiation skills to assist with lease negotiations and indirect procurement of products and services. The candidate must also be a self-starter, demonstrate initiative and ownership of areas of responsibility, be an effective communicator, exhibit pride in his/her work product, maintain a positive work attitude, and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
General Education and Experience

Education - Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study preferred
Experience - 10+ years' experience with lease negotiations, strategic realestate portfolio management, and indirect procurement of products and services used within office and warehouse facilities and by employees of those facilities.
Physical Demands - Position will involve sitting and telephone / computer use for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
Computer Skills - Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with LeaseCalcs or similar lease administration software is preferred (but can be trained).
