This position is primarily responsible for producing wort and maintaining brewing equipment and facility. Primary Job Responsibilities: Complete brewing process in a safe and efficient manner. This includes, but is not limited to, milling, mashing, and lautering, wort boiling, cooling and transferring to Storage vessels. Repair brewery equipment with assistance from other Brewhouse employees. Completion of daily cleaning and maintenance checklists Aid with yeast propagation following Company's process. Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the brew house. Work with Lab Technician to ensure our product meets our standards of the highest quality. Maintaining the use of standard operating procedures unless otherwise instructed. Communicate regularly and efficiently with Granite City staff. Maintain inventory as needed. Report any low levels of inventory to your supervisor when necessary. Arrive to each shift on time with a positive attitude. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time. Perform others duties as assigned. Requirements: Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple projects with excellent attention to detail.
