Summary:
The Ohio History Connection's Muffins & Diamonds vintage base ball volunteer team shares the history of the sport with people throughout the state of Ohio and beyond. Educating the public, through demonstration and interpretation of nineteenth-century base ball, is primary focus of the program. Volunteers wear period costuming and play by 1860s base ball rules.
Essential Functions:
Deliver educational programs about vintage base ball for audiences of diverse backgrounds which may include school-age children, young adults, educators, seniors, visitors with special needs, and those for whom English is not their first language
Willingness to play vintage base ball in period clothing by 1860s rules and/or enthusiasm about sharing baseball history with the public
Demonstrate good sportsmanship on and off the field
Interact with program participants and visitors in a professional, positive, courteous, and engaging manner
Ensure program materials are properly handled and maintained
Assist with the set-up and take-down of program materials
Required Competencies:
Must be at least 18 years of age of age to volunteer for the Muffins (men's team) & at least 16 years of age to volunteer with the Diamonds (women's team)
Must complete a background check and volunteer onboarding paperwork
Must create and account, log volunteer hours and sign up for volunteer shifts via Track It Forward
Must attend professional development and volunteer meetings
Comfortable speaking in front of groups
Possess a desire to learn about history and share their knowledge
Reliable and punctual

The Assistant Prison Program Coordinator will assist the Coordinator of Educational Programs for the respective correctional facility in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation of the off-site programs to include:
* Work closely with on site correctional educational coordinators to ensure student availability to attend classes
* Maintain waiting list and assist in registering students
* Assist in providing placement testing
* Assist in the supervision of computer labs and provide technical assistance to students
* Tutor students as needed
* Continually working with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC) staff to educate them about the mission of the certificate and degree programs offered by Sinclair Community College (SCC) at their respective facility.
This person is also responsible for assisting in overseeing all facilities and equipment related to the delivery of SCC programs, and insuring that applicable policies of SCC and DRC are followed, most particularly security. Principal Accountabilities
* Assists in the representation of Sinclair Community College and serving as a liaison between the office of the Coordinator and the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction

Selecting a squad will be the final decision of the coach or coaches.
Be responsible for the information in the Athletic Handbook and see that all assistants are also aware of this material.
Be responsible for the distribution and collection of all uniforms and equipment. Inform athletic director when difficulties arise.
Carry required emergency forms for all players, scorekeepers and managers for all practices and games.
Responsible for physical cards, emergency medical authorization forms and code of conduct for all players in your program.
By the end of the first week of practice, the coach shall provide the athletic director with a roster of all student athletes kept and communicate roster updates if necessary.

Works under the supervision of the Office Manager
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Maintain patient packets.
2) Assists patient with general needs (i.e.: walking to car, lockers, nourishments & clothing).
3) Disinfects carts & furniture between patient uses.
4) Verify patient information is contained in patient charts in the appropriate order.
5) Organize various areas of the department as needed.
Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):
6) Order and maintain supplies for exam rooms.
7) Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).
8) Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:
- Excellent communication, phone and organizational skills required.
- Consistently arrives at work, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
Education:
- HS diploma, GED, or part-time student.
Preferred:
- Previous medical office experience helpful.
