The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking Part-Time Volunteer and Donation Coordinator. This position works a minimum of 40 hours per pay period.
This part-time position carries out responsibilities of volunteer and in-kind donation management for all programs at The Children's Home. This position will manage and oversee the volunteer program entirely, including volunteer interest, application submission, training, retaining, recognizing, and scheduling volunteer hours for individual, special event, and group volunteers with all relevant departments.
This position will manage all in-kind donations and gifts for the organization and assist the department with additional program needs.
This position is eligible for the following benefits:

· Attend seven (7) monthly Saturday Academy sessions at local universities/colleges or trades. Saturday Academy typically operates between the hours of 9:00 am- 3:00pm, one Saturday a month.
· Attend monthly facilitator meetings and/or training.
· Work closely with the department staff and partners on program development and enhancements.
· Participate in professional development, meetings, and program outings.
· Maintain high levels of consumer satisfaction.
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
· Assist with various events throughout the school year, i.e., field trips and/or Celebration of Learning.
· Available to work occasional evening and weekend hours.
· Access to reliable transportation to areas in and around the City of Pittsburgh that are NOT accessible by public transportation is required.

Job Description
The FIRE Program Facilitator will facilitate fatherhood curriculum-based workshops both in person and virtually. This position will maintain current availability of clients for class and work with program management to set up class schedules. Deliver and document ongoing participant-centered service coordination in accordance with the service plan.
Attend various community Fatherhood and Family events on behalf of agency and program.

Responsibilities:
* Demonstrates an ability to learn the job duties assigned to the Pre-Analytical Assistant I, and develops an understanding of how all the functions in Tech Ops and Specimen Processing work together and how they impact Technical departments and result quality.
* Identifies problems with specimen types, missing information, etc., with regard to sorting, racking, centrifuging, delivery, and storage of specimens; is able to resolve or forward information in support of timely problem resolution.
* Demonstrates an understanding of compliance policies related to test ordering, which requires developing ability to research test order information on translation tables, computer systems, and the directory of services.
* Meets quality and production standards within 6 months of completing training.
* Completes all required written documentation such that it is understandable to others, legible and within the assigned time frame.
* Reports to work on time, and follows attendance guidelines; supports the department's performance in the event of coworker absences.
* Learns additional functions within Tech Ops and Specimen Processing to allow timely progression to the next level.
* Performs other duties as assigned. This is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities, but rather a general description of work performed by the position.
