General Description
Reporting to the Chief Diversity and Culture Officer, this position coordinates CCFCS's participation in community events and efforts that promote the agency's services and mission. Works with staff and volunteers to represent CCFCS at external and internal events that are congruent with the CCFCS mission, promote partnerships and positive relationships with various stakeholders, increase awareness of our services and provide culturally appropriate information to new and potential clients and community partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to engage community members and organizations.
Coordinate opportunities for staff to table, speak and be present at community events including but not limited to health fairs, church and school events, community fairs, human services information sessions, various awareness events for issues that impact clients of CCFCS (e.g. World AIDS Day, Inclusion Fair, SUD awareness events, etc.)
Field requests from staff and outside organizations and make recommendations to leadership for strategic participation in various outreach opportunities.
Prepare culturally and linguistically appropriate materials for various engagements.
Assist and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including local nonprofits, government agencies, and educational institutions.
Collect and analyze feedback from participation in community events to identify emerging community needs and recommend areas for improvement in communication of our services.
Assess the value of agency participation in various engagements.
Event Planning and Management
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing community-focused events, agency wide events, workshops, and forums. Examples of agency-wide events include a summer gathering, employee recognition, holiday party, Day of Caring, and monthly employee engagement activities.
Assist in managing logistics for events, including venue arrangements, marketing in cooperation with communications team, and scheduling.
Collaborate with vendors, partners, and community members to ensure successful events that foster engagement and connection.
Gather feedback and evaluate event success to inform future planning.
Program Development and Support
Assist in the development and implementation of community engagement programs aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
Track and report on program participation, outcomes, and community impact.
Collect data from community engagement activities to inform program improvement and ensure alignment with community needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to align community engagement strategies with organizational goals and initiatives.
Engage staff in participating in internal and external events.
Reporting and Evaluation
Track and analyze metrics on community engagement activities, such as attendance, participation, and feedback.
Prepare reports on community engagement efforts and present findings for leadership.
Provide recommendations for improving community engagement strategies based on data and feedback.
Administrative Support
Maintain records of community partnerships, events, and outreach activities.
Assist in working within budgets related to community engagement programs and events.
Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and responding to community inquiries.
Maintains up-to-date professional knowledge through reading, workshops/trainings and conferences, as appropriate
Awareness of and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values, Services and Strategic Plan.
Other responsibilities as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a community or volunteer engagement capacity or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Experience working in a Human Services Field and/or multicultural environments is highly preferred

- Coordinates daily activities of assigned ophthalmic technicians and develop weekly technician schedules: Maintains presence on the clinical floor to ensure patient flow moves efficiently troubleshooting in all services as needed as needed.
- Oversight of ophthalmic technician training program to ensure staff is performing at required skill level.Includes: one-on-one training with technicians (e.g. conducting phoropter refractions and/or trial lens refractions, incorporation of faculty feedback on training opportunities, development of a faculty lecture series, provide guidance and oversight of the technician incentive program intended to promote achievement of certification levels (COA, COT, COMT), and collaboration with diagnostic services team on training & skill enhancement opportunities.
- Performs as a ophthalmic technician, in addition fills is able to float in and cover any specialty service when staffingshortages occur, specific duties would include interaction with patients and all others in the department to ensure that the patient and assigned faculty member needs are met.
- Chairs bi-monthly technician team meeting. Ensures appropriate follow-up items are addressed. Attends pertinent departmental meetings to address tech related items.Works with Faculty Practice Manager to assess/analyzes technician supply and demand for the department.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience with COA certification; or 5 years of relevant experience and COA certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with COA certification. Preferred COT certification.

General Description

Seeking someone to provide Respite up to 25 hours per week, supporting a school-age individual in the Dansville area. During the school year evening (4PM or later) and possible weekends. During the summer break a schedule is negotiable. Overall, this position offers flexible scheduling. The family is seeking someone who will be able to assist with exploring places and activities of interest, along with activities of daily living. This position does require use of a personal vehicle to provide transportation. Starting rate is $19.50 per hour.
