Builds and maintains the volunteer schedule, resolves absence/coverage needs. Ensures volunteer supervision, performance appraisal, feedback, and termination; consults with leadership to address complaints and mediates conflicts related to volunteers/interns/staff. Reviews and collects all injury and accident reports regarding volunteers; identify ways to reduce risks/improve training, facility safety, or remedy non-compliance with protocols. Maintains and enforces JH's policies/protocols pertaining to the Volunteer program. Communication and Administration: Promotes JH's volunteer opportunities through internal and external communications and communicates with volunteers in collaboration with Communications team. Maintains volunteer database records. Prepares and submits Volunteer budget in collaboration with Program and Philanthropy leadership. Fundraising Support: Supports fundraising efforts and JH events by recruiting volunteers as needed. Coordinates in-kind donations to benefit programmatic and organizational needs. Hours & Schedule: Typical hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during programming (about 40 weeks per year), and 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Fridays and during program breaks. Candidates should expect to work approximately 2-3 Saturdays or Sundays per month to support volunteer groups. When evening or weekend work is required, flexible scheduling is provided in coordination with supervisors to support work-life balance. Our organization was initially established in 1946 as two separate entities: Southwest Adams County and North Washington Fire Departments. ACFR conducts structural firefighting, engages in wildland firefighting, and responds to medical emergencies, emergency situations, rescue operations, hazardous materials incidents, special operations, and events that may happen naturally. We also provide public education in educational institutions and the commercial sector, and we organize events with our district. Adams County Fire Rescue functions as a Protection District covering approximately 22 square miles. This area includes residential, single-family, multi-family, and commercial properties, serving more than 66,000 residents. The district has unique characteristics that offer our personnel a variety of call types, all responded to from four fire stations. Our annual call volume is around 13,000, alongside six other agencies, which include municipalities and protection districts. Our partners operate within a unique CAD-to-CAD framework, providing the most responsive unit system in our North Area, which encompasses seven cities and three counties. Make necessary adjustments to optimize organ function and viability. · Perform and analyze point of care testing equipment during the perfusion process, including but not limited to anticoagulation, liver enzyme, lactates, and blood gas testing. · Work closely with transplant surgeons, organ procurement coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the timing and logistics of normothermic regional perfusion procedures. · Maintain accurate records of perfusion parameters, organ assessments, and transplantation outcomes. · Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional protocols for organ preservation and transplantation. · Identify and address any issues or complications that may arise during the perfusion process. Implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure the successful preservation of organs for transplantation. Qualifications · CCP, RN, or RT with extensive ECMO Specialist Experience. They will provide a critical customer service role, communicating with players on the course. In addition to optimizing our pace of play, the Starter / Player Assistant will communicate vital information about golf cart traffic regulations, course rules and etiquette. The Starter / Player Assistant is a point of contact with all players, communicating information about course conditions and the day's pace of play. They will also serve a critical role in summoning help when emergency assistance is needed. Responsibilities Include: Provide a friendly greeting to all players you encounter on the course. Promote and offer outstanding customer service. Greet and deliver a consistent message to each group and give them the opportunity to voice any concerns Make sure that each group is aware of our pace of play policy and what is happening on the course ahead of them on any given day. Provide updates as warranted Coordinate with the Starter and Golf Shop to monitor the pace of play. Obtain golf cart numbers for each group.
