The Program Facilitator's primary objective is to facilitate Girl Scout programming in school and community settings
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as a team to facilitate programming for youth, ages 5 to 17 creating a fun and safe environment for all
Facilitate Girl Scout curriculum to help girls develop a strong sense of self, positive values, seek challenges, build healthy relationships, and become community problem solvers
Communicate professionally and responsively to caregivers and school / partner agency staff
Provide positive reinforcements and positive redirection to youth in program settings
Promote the three processes of Girl Scouts: 1) Girl Led 2) Learn by Doing 3) Cooperative Learning
Encourage girl decision making and leadership through positive activities. Provide daily reports of program activities
Conduct program evaluations as directed
Provide a programmatic experience inclusive to all Girl Scouts by delivering the Girl Scout message of pluralism and diversity
Foster a supportive and encouraging environment by consistently offering constructive and uplifting feedback
Manage and respond to challenging behavior with patience and flexibility, employing strategies that promote understanding, positive development, and a respectful atmosphere
Responsible for learning and staying abreast of current information regarding Girl Scouts, GSSOAZ and our products and offerings
Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications
Demonstrate and promote a climate of courtesy and professionalism to coworkers, the volunteers served by the Council, and others with whom their job puts them in contact
Promote and assist with Council wide programs, activities, and fund development endeavors
Enter data into Council CRM tool and adhere to Council procedures and policies regarding documenting membership interactions, maintaining confidentiality and completing tasks
Attend trainings and meetings as required, some of which may be off-site
Perform job duties in accordance with the Safety and Risk Management Plan

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma; must be 18 years of age by the first day of employment.
Equivalent experience in related field or any combination of education, training and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities of the position will be considered
Availability of at least 10-15 hours weekly during business hours; 10 am to 5 pm
Maturity, sound judgment and leadership skills
Belief in the mission of Girl Scouts and ability to communicate and model the mission to others
Previous Girl Scout experience and knowledge welcomed; not required.
Previous work experience in a non-profit or youth services environment welcomed; not required
Ability to work effectively as a team with people of diverse racial, ethnic and economic backgrounds and promote an inclusive environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities
Academic Professional Activities
Management of the Conservation Laboratory:
* Manages the long-term and daily activities of the Conservation Laboratory, including evaluating laboratory facilities, inventory, equipment, and procedures, and monitoring and maintaining safe working conditions and security.
* Plans, schedules, manages, budgets for, and evaluates preservation and conservation programs and projects.
* Supervises staff, students, and/or volunteers within the lab.
* Prepares budget and capital equipment requests for laboratory operations.
* Develops, maintains and implements policies, procedures and standards for activities that involve preservation (the activities that protect collections by minimizing chemical and physical deterioration and damage and that prevent loss of informational content), and conservation (preventive care and interventive treatment of objects guided by the professional Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice of the American Institute for Conservation).
* Maintains records and documentation, including condition surveys, condition reports for loans, conservation treatment reports, and technical study reports related to repatriation.
Physical Care of Collections:
* Determines priorities for preservation and engages in activities that protect the collections or individual artifacts from harm.
* Assesses conservation needs of all ASM collections including, but not limited to, preventive conservation, examination, condition assessment, materials characterization, risk assessment, documentation, and interventive conservation treatment.
* Advises on optimum environmental standards for the preservation of the collections in all areas where artifacts are located. Makes recommendations related to temperature, relative humidity, lighting, environmental stability, and air cleanliness based on established professional standards, the regional climate, and sustainability.
* Leads or collaborates on preventive conservation initiatives, including collections condition assessments, pesticides studies, storage upgrades, rehousing projects, environmental monitoring, integrated pest management, and emergency preparedness and response.
* Collaborates with the Head of Operations in investigating and implementing improvements to ensure that ASM facilities meet museum preservation standards.
* Conducts conservation-related activities in support of internal exhibitions, including condition assessments, environmental needs assessments, interventive treatments, documentation, mount-making, handling and installation, and an evaluation of security, as well as environmental monitoring for the duration of exhibition.
* Conducts conservation-related activities in support of loans for external exhibitions, including condition assessments, environmental needs assessments, interventive treatments, documentation, mount-making, preparation of guidelines for handling and installation, packing for shipping, and possible couriering.
* Conducts conservation-related activities in support of the repatriation of collections, pursuant to NAGPRA, in coordination with the Head of Collections and the Repatriation Coordinator.
* Advises and assists the Head of Collections in the establishment, implementation, review, and revision of the Collections Division's collection management policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and priorities.
* Maintains a current knowledge of relevant laws, policies, laboratory safety standards, museum standards, and ethical issues to advise the Collections Division as it acquires, uses, lends, borrows, and disposes of collections.
Research and Creative Activities
* Conducts and publishes research that contributes to new conservation knowledge and practices, new interventive treatments, new material or technical knowledge of ASM's collections, or new standards for museum facilities.
* Pursues grants and other forms of external funding to support research on and care of the collections.
* May participate in exhibit development by contributing intellectual and other creative content.
Teaching and Other Educational Activities
* Participates in ASM's educational outreach initiatives, including community presentations, tours, and workshops designed for a variety of learners.

Complete daily schedule objectives in a timely manner in accordance with SOPs.
Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and count records.
Ensure all plants are fed appropriately by monitoring moisture levels of grow medium.
Inspect and monitor plant pressures including pest, fungal, bacterial, viruses, and all plant health issues.
Follow IPM schedule and wear appropriate PPE when drenching or spraying.
Manage plants throughout grow cycle until harvest including transplanting, water, pruning, and inspecting plant and environment data.
Complete daily maintenance of Mother plants, including trimming, pruning, and de-fanning.
Help take and transplant cuts from Mothers to train and grow young plants.
Ensure all tools and materials are kept in clean, sanitary, and working condition.
Maintain a sanitary environment by following cleaning and sanitation SOP of all growth rooms.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of certified Project Inspire Special Educators, provides health services support and assistance, including therapeutic interaction and personal care, to students with multiple (severe and profound) disabilities to attend and/or function in an educational setting. Enhances learning environment of physically, emotionally, and mentally challenged multiple disabled students through individualized focus on daily living and learning skills; provides instructional support to certified teachers on an as-needed basis. Inclusion Assistants work at multiple sites throughout the District.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Provides direct medical health services and support to students during seizures, tracheotomy suctioning and changing, respiratory support, "G" tube feedings (bolus and continuous), supported oral motor functions for eating, catheterization, medication administration (oral and "G" tube), CPR and First Aide;
* Provides direct assistance for students to reach daily personal care and personal hygiene goals;
* Develops student-centered, age appropriate, functional and meaningful adaptations and accommodations;
* Provides direct assistance and/or full support for meal times, including "G" tube feedings;
* Encourages students to participate in decision-making, counseling, social, recreational, vocational, day and other activities identified in students' person-centered individualized education plans;
* Conducts daily data documentation and observation of student behavior and medication bringing any unusual/suspect behaviors to supervisor's immediate attention;
* Assists and supports student augmentative communication systems (low/high tech, Braille, sign language, etc.) including adaptive computer software and technologies;
* Ensures proper operating safety procedures of power and manual wheelchair systems, including attending wheelchair clinics, readjustments, positioning/lifting training, and other related supports;
* Obtains in-depth knowledge through training of positioning, standing, walking, transferring methods, individualized physical and occupational therapy routines;
* Performs crisis intervention techniques to prevent harmful behavior to/by students to others;
* Supports positive behavioral support procedures;
* Transports students to community based instruction sites;
* Collects data to meaningfully assess individual student goals and objectives;
* Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with students, peers, families, therapists, District personnel, community members, and outside service agencies;
* Encourages and teaches self-esteem by demonstrating and modeling the skills to foster empowerment;
* Performs other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
A. REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma or equivalent;
* Associate's degree, 60 credit hours of college or evidence of passing score on acceptable paraprofessional exam;
* Post High School education and/or training with persons with disabilities preferred;
* Prior medical training or experience preferred;
* American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR and First Aid certification required
* Ability to communicate effectively;
* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships;
* In-service training session attendance required;
* Valid Arizona driver's license.
B. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Ability to assist students with restricted mobility, if necessary;
* Ability to lift more than 50 pounds, if required;
* Ability to attend to student personal care routines, if required;
* Ability to operate district transportation vehicles, if necessary;
* Ability to call for assistance and/or emergency 911;
* Ability to physically perform CPR and First Aide.

· Ability to take, develop and “mount” accurate, high quality radiographs/intra-oral photos.
· Clean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, prior to and after a patient's appointment.
· Track the incoming and outgoing lab cases, monitor and order dental supplies.
· Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance, follow safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and BBP (Blood-borne Pathogens) Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment.
· Assist in educating the patients and address their questions and/or concerns to help them feel more comfortable.
· Assist the business administrative team in scheduling patients and submitting referrals as clinically necessary.
· Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs.
Qualifications
Education/Certification(s)
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
Current radiography certification required.
Active Dental Assistant/ CDA/ EFDA/ EDDA/ QDA license, as required by state
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR- BLS) preferred
Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred as required by state, or ability to become certified.
