RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ecommerce Operations
Support the setup of new products including uploading product details, imagery, and copy to the website and third-party marketplaces.
Assist with the visual merchandising of the site to ensure cohesive presentation of seasonal collections.
Help maintain seasonal calendars and organize digital assets for cross-functional use.
Manage product sample tracking and assist in preparation for photoshoots.
Monitor and report on website performance, product availability, and functionality; escalate bugs or broken links as needed.
Support execution of online sales, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
Pull regular and ad hoc performance reports related to sales, product performance, and customer behavior.
Support seasonal and ad hoc product order entering and monitoring product ETAs.
Manage daily customer service inquiries, working closely with Logistics Manager and Ecommerce Marketing Coordinator to resolve order issues, returns, escalate issues appropriately, and answer general questions promptly and professionally.
Retail & Brand Events
Provide on-the-ground support for New York retail activations, including in-store events, seasonal launches, and clienteling efforts.
Coordinate event logistics and ensure materials (e.g. signage, product displays, collateral) are in place.
Assist with regional pop-ups or brand moments in key markets.
Help gather insights and recap post-event performance and learnings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in e-commerce, retail or e-commerce/retail operations.
Experience in contemporary or luxury womenswear and retail is a strong plus.
Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; Shopify or similar platform experience is a bonus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a customer-first mindset.

JOB SUMMARY
The Youth Worker will assist in providing programs and services to young people in RHI's Youth Development & Socio-Emotional Learning Department. This Youth Worker position will facilitate workshops based on the needs of the program as a floater. This person is also responsible for planning and executing learning excursions for school-aged participants (Middle school & High school). The Youth Worker is passionate about engaging youth and continuing to learn about youth development. The ideal candidate is willing to commit to at least one full year, working weekday afternoons.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and assist with youth groups (middle and high school) that promote team building, social-emotional learning, leadership, and structured enrichment activities.
Facilitate programs by leading at least two middle school groups and one high school group per program cycle (three cycles per year).
Support trips and events, including afterschool, holiday camp, and summer Freedom Schools programming; ensure active engagement and safe supervision of youth at all times.
Plan and accompany field trips with educational, recreational, service, or creative purposes, incorporating input from youth, families, and staff.
Co-create curriculum and activities in collaboration with the Program Manager and team.
Assist in youth recruitment and retention efforts, engaging young people from Red Hook in RHI programs and services.
Partner with external facilitators by helping coordinate sessions and maintaining youth participation.
Maintain accurate program records, including daily attendance, weekly logs, and documentation for compliance.
Communicate regularly with supervisors, participating in weekly supervision sessions with the Manager of Youth Development.

The RHI work environment is characteristic of a typical indoor office/program environment and the noise level is generally quiet to moderate.

RHI provides a hybrid work arrangement for employees, when possible. In this role, a hybrid schedule may be arranged when direct services are not in session.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Purpose of Position: Youth Workers are assigned to work with a group of co-ed children, divided into grade groups (kindergarten through eight grade), for reading enrichment, project-based learning, group games and social0emotional competencies. Youth workers work in unison with the Group Leader and other group staff. In the absence of Group Leader, Youth Worker takes full leadership of the group. Together and through Group Work practice, our staff works to provide a positive and creative environment for the social and intellectual development of all participants.

Work with children on developmental and emotional issues; encourage program participation and social skills development.
Teach and supervise organized games and assist the activity leaders, escort groups to and from activity areas and field trips and carry out other tasks as directed by Group Leaders.
