Foundation of VOSS on September 15, 1931.

15, 1931, mechanical engineer Hans Herman Voss founded VOSS in Wipperfürth, Germany.

1953

1953 Start of production of tube connections for mechanical engineering and vehicle construction industry.

Since then, VOSS has grown to meet demands of the commercial vehicle, construction and agriculture equipment, and passenger car industries. It wasn’t until 1953 that the company changed its name to VOSS Automotive and began developing tube connections for vehicle construction and mechanical engineering.

1975

1975 Market launch of the world's first quick connector for air brakes in commercial vehicles.

1993

1993 Participation in the research society for automotive engineering (Forschungsgesellschaft für Kraftfahrwesen (FKA GmbH), at RWTH Aachen.

2001

2001 Renaming of the Armaturenfabrik Hermann Voss GmbH + Co KG as VOSS Automotive GmbH under the umbrella of VOSS Holding.

2004

2004 Opening of the VOSS Automotive Polska plant in Legnickie Pole, Poland.

2008

2008 Foundation of the Japanese subsidiary VOSS Japan Ltd.

2011

2011 Foundation of the subsidiary VOSS Automotive Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V.

2014

2014 Market introduction of solutions for hybrid and electric vehicles: VOSS thermal management.

2019 Development of electrically heated tubes for water injection.
