Job Summary: The Configuration Management Lead / Senior Specialist is a key contributor in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and traceability of hardware, software, and documentation across aerospace and defense programs. This role goes beyond clerical CM support-driving process improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for CM best practices, tools, and standards. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and program management to ensure product baselines are defined, controlled, and auditable throughout the program lifecycle Responsibilities: * Own and lead the configuration management process across multiple aerospace/defense programs, ensuring compliance with AS9100, MIL-STD, NASA MAPs, and customer contractual requirements. * Serve as the CM subject matter expert (SME), mentoring team members and advising leadership on CM strategy, risk, and compliance gaps. * Develop and maintain configuration control plans and CM documentation tailored to program needs. * Direct and perform configuration identification, change control, release, and audit activities, ensuring data integrity and product traceability. * Create, review, and approve EIDPs, data deliverables, and contract-required documentation. * Partner with engineering and manufacturing to validate PCBA documentation, serialized part control, inspection records, and product data accuracy. * Manage and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), drawings, revision history, and part number schema within PLM/ERP systems. * Drive adoption of modern CM practices and tools, including PLM/ERP integration, digital thread initiatives, and process automation. * Interface with suppliers and customers to ensure proper flow-down of contractual and mission assurance requirements. * Support program reviews, customer audits, and government inspections, serving as the CM representative. * Lead or support cross-functional Change Control Boards (CCBs) and Engineering Review Boards (ERBs). Requirements: * 7+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or space manufacturing environments with increasing CM responsibilities. * Strong working knowledge of configuration management principles and standards (CMII certification preferred). * Proven expertise in EIDP creation, audit preparation, and configuration audits. * Hands-on experience with PLM/ERP systems such as ComplianceQuest, Windchill, SAP, or equivalent. * Deep understanding of supplier flow-down requirements, MAPs, and government/DoD contract compliance. * Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements, streamline CM workflows, and implement tool upgrades. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. * Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with executives, customers, and auditors. Job Summary: The RF/Communications Department Manager is a leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the engineering team and for assigning engineering resources and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Job Summary: We are looking for a Component Library Engineer to join our team of designers of cutting-edge components for space and national security applications including Space Rated Cameras, Star Trackers and Laser Communications. The ideal candidate is a technical expert who will support the design, the development, launch and sustainment of every product in our portfolio. The EEE Parts Component Library Engineer oversees the overall health and effectiveness of the component library. This role focuses on ensuring the library meets the needs of designers and developers while aligning with business goals. This role is required to be hands-on and provide technical leadership in parts management process, parts creation and quality control. The person in this position will be responsible for supporting the development of high technology space programs. Tasks will include development of component requirements, parts selection, addressing obsolescence while working closely with design engineers, supply chain, quality, and reliability engineers. The person in this position needs to have proven experience in counterfeit parts management and obsolescence management with capability to guide teams upon these activities over a lean environment. Needs to drive part standardization by recommending re-use of parts in the database (when appropriate to do so), will work with component manufacturers and distributors to attain their product roadmaps. This person will be responsible for ECAD library maintenance and new parts introduction in ECAD library. This person will also review Product Change Notices (PCNs) and GIDEP (Government-Industry Data Exchange Program) alerts for their impact on components used, will advise concerned teams upon such alerts and will be responsible for Data Management and Part Number Management. Responsibilities: * Define the component library's scope and roadmap * Research and identify components that meet specifications, performance, and cost constraints * Possess technical expertise in reading schematics, drawings, and datasheets * Interface with manufacturers and suppliers to source components * Inspect alternative components to improve quality, reliability, and cost * Manage all aspects of component selection, production, qualification, obsolescence, and documentation * Create and maintain component library databases, schematic symbols, and component land patterns * Design and create accurate footprints/Cells for various electronic components, considering factors like package type, pin spacing, and manufacturing tolerances * Develop schematic symbols that accurately represent component behavior and pin connections * Organize and maintain component libraries for easy navigation and compatibility * Review and verify the accuracy of component libraries, identifying and correcting errors * Collaborate with PCB designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to address component-related issues * Guide team members in selecting appropriate components based on engineering requirements * Track usage and identify optimization opportunities Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Responsibilities: * Lead cross-functional execution of major aerospace programs, including design, development, qualification, and full-rate production. * Serve as the primary point of contact for external customers including Prime contractors, providing clear, confident communication and building trusted relationships. * Apply deep knowledge of NASA and DoD acquisition rigor to ensure compliance with applicable standards, including NASA 7120.5, 7123.1, and DoD 5000 series. * Manage cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk across the program lifecycle using disciplined project management practices and tools (e.g., EIA-748 EVMS, IMS, WBS/OBS alignment). * Translate complex engineering concepts into actionable business strategies and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Drive proposal efforts, including cost-volume development and negotiation strategy, for new business and contract modifications. * Oversee subcontractor performance and flowdown of requirements, ensuring integration with program objectives and timely delivery of critical components. * Facilitate program reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, MRR, etc.) and drive successful completion of lifecycle gate milestones. * Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and mission assurance to drive execution and resolve issues proactively. * Mentor junior program managers and contribute to the development of Voyager's program management discipline and best practices Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or related technical discipline; Master's degree or MBA preferred. * 15+ years of experience in aerospace or defense, including 10+ years of program management experience leading complex development and production efforts. * Demonstrated success managing large programs ($25M+) or a comparable portfolio of programs across NASA, DoD, and/or commercial space mission areas. * Strong engineering literacy-able to evaluate technical issues, contribute to design reviews, and challenge engineering trade studies. * Technical familiarity and experience consistent with Voyager's space situational awareness and guidance, navigation and control VantageTM product line. * Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, make informed decisions under pressure, and drive outcomes across internal and external stakeholders. * Deep understanding of government contracting principles, including FFP, CPFF, and IDIQ vehicles, and experience managing major subcontracts. * Strong business acumen with proven ability to align technical execution with cost, schedule, and contract objectives. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong executive presence. * PMP certification or equivalent preferred. * U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. * Ability to travel in performance of job duties (10-20%).
