SUMMARY: The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for fulfilling orders, packaging, and verifying parts, and ensuring that the daily functions and procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Supports team in accomplishing daily goals and meeting deadlines. Shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory, and warehouse upkeep are responsibilities of this role.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform receiving inspection by verifying serial numbers (s/n), part numbers (P/N), obvious damage on unit, capabilities, and revisions. Manage customer holds, engineering holds, quality holds, and maintain direct communication with customer service, and internal team.
Perform shipping duties, verify P/N's, obvious damage on units, shipping instructions, shipping addresses, verify commercial invoices (MS) Memo of Shipment and proformas when shipped directly to third parties, create airway bills and inspection of customer's crates prior to shipping final goods, send invoices, and contact carriers to schedule pickups.
Verify that R.O.'s match materials being shipped out.
Direct communication with customer service for incomplete documents, returns, and other discrepancies.
Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
1 year of relevant/technical work experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to read, send, and execute instructions via email and memos.
Proficient with computers, basic knowledge of word editing software, inventory sheets, and email management.
Warehouse Operations' Knowledge, experienced with shipping, receiving, and stocking practices.
Hazardous Materials Shipping and Handling and general shipping procedures.
Aviation Materials Knowledge, familiar with parts numbers, descriptions, and handling.
Ability to carry several assignments at the same time and deliver positive results.
Adjust to continuous change, ability to shift focus to new task while keeping productivity and without losing sight of general goals.
Detail oriented, able to produce accurate work to avoid unnecessary reproduction.

**Trane Technologies is looking for a Material Handler-Driver, to join our team on 2nd shift at our Atlanta, GA location.** The PIV equipment used includes: forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers.
+ Hours for this position will be 2:30pm - 11:00pm
+ Starting pay for this position goes up to $23.50/hour, (based on experience).

**Responsibilities:**
+ Safely operates PIV equipment, (forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers) to load, unload, sort, stack, and stage product
+ Locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations
+ Ensure that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition
+ Work with local and regional freight companies
+ Stock and arrange product to ensure inventory accuracy
+ Enters inventory into software system
+ Ensure accuracy of part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location. Resolves discrepancies as necessary
+ Ensures that pallets are stable, have appropriate height, and are free of damage
+ Prioritizes the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to meet customer needs
+ Performs training, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma/GED not required
+ Some warehouse and forklift experience preferred
+ Must be able to lift 50lbs
+ Must have valid driver's license

Your Impact
The Internal Logistics Driver plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and finished goods between our sites, ensuring that every team has what they need, when they need it. Working closely with warehouse teams, inventory control, and site leadership, this driver helps maintain a seamless flow of inventory and supports the heartbeat of our production and distribution operations.
What You'll Do

Transport materials, equipment, and finished goods between designated company sites, vendors and customers on a regular schedule.
Perform safe loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods
Verify material quantities, labels, and documentation before departure and upon arrival.
Maintain accurate logs for all internal transfers, including bills of lading, manifests, and inventory movement records.
Follow all company policies, safety rules, and DOT regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance needs promptly.
Coordinate with warehouse teams to prioritize transfers based on operational requirements.
Support cross-functional teams by providing clear communication on delivery timelines or delays.
Assist with material staging or basic warehouse tasks.
Ensure exceptional professionalism as a representative of the company when interacting with staff, vendors or customers at each site.
What You Bring
Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required (dependent on vehicle type).
Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or driving roles preferred.
Strong knowledge of safe loading and securing techniques.
Ability to lift, move, and secure materials as needed.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and highly organized with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
