What You'll Do:
Ensure Quality Control. Conduct routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, and finished materials to ensure quality control of products at the point of production, shipping, and arrival upon the job site. Adhere to testing methods, including American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Department of Transportation (DOT).
Document and Report Information. Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner, interpreting, documenting, and storing the results. Communicate test results in a timely manner to the supervisor and properly document in a database.
Maintain Lab Standards. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in and around the lab. Troubleshoot problems and review basic product specifications. Inspect, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment periodically.
Monitor Stockpile. Inspect stockpiles, materials sources, and truckloads at plant sites. Monitor the daily construction of the stockpile to ensure that segregation and contamination is kept to a minimum or eliminated. Notify management immediately if contamination is identified.
Inspect Equipment and Structures. Conduct routine inspections of the plant equipment in order to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Skills You'll Need:
Experience. Prior training or experience in the materials testing field is preferred. Knowledge of general principles and practices of aggregate production is preferred.
Safety Knowledge. Must display knowledge and awareness of construction and mining site hazards.
Math Skills. Must possess good math skills and demonstrate the ability to perform simple to moderately complex arithmetic calculations.
Technology Skills. Must have the ability to use computerized equipment and technology. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Oracle Business Environment, and other software packages relevant to the position.

* Increase annual sales and significant growth in profits by developing new business, expanding markets and assisting Area Manager in developing strategic opportunities for long-term growth and efficient flow of inventory
* Assist Area Manager in the development of annual sales plan based on market intelligence acquired through customer interaction, Department of Transportation spending, and other market tools
* Deliver key goals/objectives for success by consistently meeting targeted tonnages, revenues, and selling prices to ensure maximum profitability

Essential Job Responsibilities
* Coordinate all in-house electrical repairs and upgrades, including those related to plant controls for rail operations
* Troubleshoot AC / DC motor controls and drives
* Actively research potential upgrades and fine-tune existing operations to improve safety, efficiencies, plant capacities, consistency, availability and reporting
* Work closely with engineering group and outside contracted vendors to meet deadlines and complete capital improvement projects
* Support corporate safety culture and perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
* Lead by example on all MMM safety rules/procedures and MSHA compliance standards and ensure that all employees are following established safety policies and procedures

Preferred Education and Experience
* 3 years' experience in aggregates or similar industry desired
* 3 years experience with production conveyor belt scales, operation, calibration, trouble shooting and repair desired
* Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving history

Working Conditions
All duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.

What you will do:
You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all trucks, trailers and other heavy mobile equipment
Work closely with the equipment department and local vendors to facilitate repairs
Travel to various worksites throughout the Western U.S. during the regular season months of March through October and provide operational maintenance support for all working equipment
Take ownership over your work, equipment, conditions, and surroundings to keep safety first in all things both for yourself and for all crew members
What you will need:
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Prior education, certification, or experience in Diesel Mechanics or related field
A current and valid driver's license with reliable transportation to and from Company shop in Salt Lake City
Commitment to adhering to standards of the Company Code of Conduct

General Summary
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures. This project participates in on-the-job training.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure.
Lays out floor-plan and cabinetwork, using rule, framing square, and calipers.
Selects materials and structural units, such as lumber, prefabricated doors, and cabinets of wood or plastic, and paneling, and inspects them to insure conformance with provisions of building code and local ordinance.
Determines sequence of activities concerned with fabrication, assembly, and erection of structure.
Assigns workers to such tasks as cutting material to size, building concrete forms, erecting wooden framework, and laying flooring.
Inspects work performed by subcontractors, including ductwork, wiring, and pipe installations, to insure conformance with specifications.
Installs doors, builds stairs, and lays hardwood floors.
May supervise workers engaged in building timber structures, such as cofferdams, trestles, and supports for concrete forms.
May make cost estimates for contracts. Performs other duties as described under Supervisor.

The worker must be able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment, and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work.
