What You'll Do:
Promote Safety. In accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times.
Operate Heavy Equipment. Safely operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and/or finished products throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
Inspect Equipment. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and accurately complete daily mobile equipment reports and other relevant documentation.

Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings. Monitor the plant and operations and report any necessary maintenance or adjustments to ensure safety.
Skills You'll Need:
Experience. Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment is preferred.
Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.

What You'll Do:
Champion the Vulcan Way of Selling. Implement and enforce all sales operational programs and policies in accordance with Vulcan's internal sales strategies. Develop and Maintain Business Relationships. Grow and maintain all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service objectives. Learn how to resolve customer issues relating to materials or trucking to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery of high-quality products.
Meet or Exceed Revenue Targets. Work with the sales team to develop a territory budget, create projections, analyze trends, and manage within parameters to ensure targeted profitability, projecting sales and analyzing trends to assist in the budget process.
Represent the Company. Represent the company with major contractors, as well as federal, state, and local government agencies and industry associations involved in regulating, specifying, or purchasing construction materials.

Responsible for accurately preparing, estimating, and reviewing bids for demolition work with an emphasis in roadway, highway and bridge projects along with other market segments including residential and commercial projects (50%). Managing all aspects of demolition contracts including contract administration, subcontractor coordination/payment, job cost tracking, collections and project close out (25%). Responsibilities
* Research, identify and analyze new jobs to bid, determining bonding licensing and permitting requirements and identifying risks and opportunities specific to each potential new job.
* Creating and delivering project estimates that include labor, equipment, materials and subcontractor pricing.
* Perform accurate full project take-offs and determine applicable project schedules and scopes
* Oversee contract execution process to ensure all terms and conditions are included in final contract
* Solicit and negotiate proposals from necessary subcontractors and oversee them through all phases of the contract process
* Producing and submitting pre-construction materials ensuring accuracy and completion of all necessary items to start work on a project once the contract has been executed.
* Manage subcontractor schedule, job progress, and billings

What You'll Do:

Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Vice President of M&A, the Analyst M&A will provide leadership and support on various investment and growth initiatives consistent with Cemex's overall business and growth strategy in the US. The Manager will be a key member of the company's M&A department in the US and support the team in managing complex acquisitions and strategic corporate development initiatives.

What You'll Do:
Champion Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards. Support all Company and regulatory policies, rules, and regulations.
Conduct Training. Conduct site-specific training for employees, vendors, or other persons at the facility.
Communicate and Coordinate. Communicate with employees regarding work assignments and correcting problems. Assist in troubleshooting issues.
Perform General Physical Activities. Perform a variety of physical tasks. Assist with the loading/unloading and operation of the train, including breaking/making trains and using high-pressure water hoses, pry bars, and shovels.
Operate Train and Related Equipment. Assist in operating the train on its assigned route. Operate hand-controlled rail switches, manual hand-wheel brakes, uncoupling levers, and remote control devices.
Repair and Maintain Plant Equipment. Perform minor repairs and maintenance activities around the train to improve performance and safety, including replacing heavy coupling and replacing broken knuckles or air brake hoses.
Document and Record Information. Maintain and enter records of price, product, weight, and customer name into computers. Generate bills of sale, dray tickets, and bills of lading.
Assist with Various Tasks. Work through various assignments, such as assisting with financial reports, payroll, or procurement activities.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Skills You'll Need:
Functional and Safety Knowledge. Must exhibit high levels of competency, skill, and proficiency in daily mining operations.
Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Interpersonal Skills. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Ready to Drive. Must have a valid driver's license and have excellent driving skills.
