What You'll Do:
Cost Estimating - Provide electrical cost estimates for proposed new facilities and plant modifications. These estimates will include costs for PLC and HMI systems, related software, and installation costs.
Engineering Design Services - Provide complete processcontrol design for aggregate, asphalt, and ready-mix facilities. Design shall include ladder logic, HMI, plant networks, and control schematics. Provide technical supervision in formulating calculations, evaluations, feasibility studies, and optimum design criteria for plant electrical integrity, reliability, and endurance. Services provided are conceptual operating plans, detailed layouts, and equipment selections.
Project Management - Provide project management activities on projects working with internal personnel as well as outside contractors, developing schedules and goals to meet milestone requirements.
Project Review - Participate in the review of capital and expense projects pertaining to design correctness, feasibility, and cost for the sections of the project related to processcontrol.
Standardization and Innovation - Participate in the standardization of projects and databases for both engineering and estimating information. Maintain an awareness of technology trends in the electrical and instrumentation industry and the application thereof by competition and others. Analyze future plant control systems and apply new technology and original innovation to attain competitive superiority where possible.
Skills You'll Need:
Education. Bachelor's Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Professional engineering license is preferred.
Experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and installation of heavy industrial control systems is desired, preferably in aggregates or a related industry.
Technology Skills. Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley, GE, Wonderware, and Pi Historian systems is preferred. Knowledge of SQL Server and other reportings software is a plus.
Functional Knowledge. Must have knowledge of industrial controls systems and computer, PLC, and HMI programming. Skills identifying electrical problems, troubleshooting, and field installation experience is preferred. Knowledge of computer networking is preferred.
Time Management Skills. Must have the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects and priorities at one time. Must have the ability to work in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment that requires complex, technical information and decision making.
Ready to Drive. Must have the ability to drive a pickup truck/car on a daily basis.

Scope of Position

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate manufacturing processes for stainless steel plumbing fixtures and secure hardware products
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
3D modeling of components, producing and maintaining technical drawings of the Company's products, and creating drawings of products for marketing purposes
Work cross-functionally with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure project alignment
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, routings, BOMs, and process flows
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Mechanical Engineering Manager or company management.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce costs or improve manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with stainless steel manufacturing or metal fabrication environments
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and manufacturing drawings
Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and specifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of manufacturing process and design for manufacturability
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting project priorities

As an Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer you will be joining a growing team of other Electrical and Control System Engineers, Control System Integration Engineers, and Technicians. This position will be designing instrumentation and control systems for Data Centers.
