    The Pipe / Tubing Welder must work safely and productively on various sized Industrial project sites. A successful candidate in this role must be highly motivated and willing to complete any task assigned, along with performing the essential duties of the Pipe / Tubing Welder position. The Pipe / Tubing Welder is expected to have the ability to perform all duties of the positions preceding it in its specific career path, while being responsible and accountable to complete any other tasks assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Assist with development and implementation of pre-task safety plans * Determine appropriate welding equipment * Identify & correct safety hazards * Inspect welds for flaws * Operate angle grinder to prepare metal for welding * Perform welding of various metal components Working Conditions * Outdoors with various weather conditions - frequently * Loud noise - frequently * Lifting, carrying or moving up to 90 pounds * Wearing all PPE when on any project site (e.g., Steel toed boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses, gloves, earplugs, etc.) * Traveling/out of town - frequently * 40 to 55-hour work week - frequently * Heights and depths - frequently ID21 Education and/or Experience * High School Diploma or GED - preferred * Apprenticeship - preferred * Five years welding experience - required * Experience with rigging is helpful.
